How to turn off safe search on iPhone? In this tutorial, I show you how to turn off or disable safe search on your iPhone. This means when you use Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, or any other search engine you can turn off safe search. Safe search is a setting on the search engine you're using not the iPhone or Safari. Follow the steps below to turn off safe search on iPhone:
1. Open the browser on your iPhone and make a search.
2. You will now be on a search engine. Select the icon that looks like 3 horizontal bars to open the menu.
3. In the menu select hide explicit results.
4. Toggle off the explicit results filter to turn off safe search.
5. You can now go back to the search engine and use it with safe search turned off.

@GaugingGadgets - Is it possible to KEEP the safe search setting turned off? It keeps reverting back to being on when browsing with the following parameters:
- IOS (updated to 16.5)
- Safari
- Private Browsing
- Not signed into Google (even if I wanted to private browsing logs you out)

You can't turn SafeSearch off right now because someone else, such as a parent or administrator, controls settings on the network, browser or device that you're using.
