I've been a DJ for nearly 40 years, a club DJ for 25, and I was a Billboard Magazine Club and Dance Chart DJ for 18. To this day, this remains my favorite song of all time. I remember being in a club in Piccadilly Circus when I was 15 and asking the DJ to play the song, as it was new and I just heard it a couple days prior for the first time. This song and that experience was life changing.

Love it! My opinion, one of the most underrated bands ever, with one of the best voices leading them. Colin James Hay, what a wonderful name. What a wonderful guy. If I had a son, I wanted to name him Colin James, that's how much I admired him.

@@OldGuyHere MTV launched in 1981, probably slightly before this came out. There was music on TV long before then, from the earliest days of television. This was not an MTV music video. The one that ran on MTV is easy enough to find.

@@jamesvalvis1131 Yes I agree. I still believe MTV changed the way music was played and listening to. I never said there weren't changes over the years. There were many. MTV brought in a new audience of people. New music and a new way to listen to music........we watched it. The music videos were unbelievable. Especially in the early years. Bands were dropping millions on a seven minute video. Musicians were writing songs just for Music Videos.
