I’ve been drinking AG for a while but having a hard time justifying the cost. I’m exploring alternatives. Thank you for mentioning D and K as I definitely need those vitamins. Great video.
Just drank the first AG1 today and was ill for a few hours. Never happened before. It seemed common. They were nice to refund me right away before I even asked, when I told them what happened. I’m back to only Huels, vitamins and regular food. Which always make me feel great. The taste was also horrible. I hope they improve their product and get more transparent about their formulas and side effects.
@@FitnessFinance4u thanks ! much better today but had to call a doctor yesterday. If you look up « AG1 side effects reddit » you’ll find plenty of similar cases. I bet those « scientists » who promote it with authority like Huberman have never actually researched the products effects and aren’t nutristionnists. They just use their audience to make money without checking.
Transparent Labs makes a great prebiotic green powder. Very clean and clearly outlines the exact amount of everything in it, which isn't much but in my opinion, that's ok.
I simply can't justify the high price points for super greens. As long as they taste good and have a decent ingredient list, I always go for cheaper. Sticking with Transformation Protein's super greens. They taste good!
The sugar content not on the label but 10 carb-5 fiber = 5g , guessing from the pineapple which leaves 1.27g for the rest of the super greens fruit blend which seems kind of small. Hard for me to call dry pineapple superfood but does taste great and I don't mind it being there- just would prefer a larger relative dose of the super greens methinks. Thanks for putting it on the radar, I do prefer the wholefood approach rather than additive supps in the AG
I'll stick to AG1. Not a fan of many of Laird products. Although I'm a fan of Lairds sport. I prefer taking Vit D & K separately, I can control how much I take.
I'm on day two of AG1... trying to help my daughter get healthier so I doubled down on it so we both can do it. Expensive? Not really, regardless of which product we go with long term, using a healthier product sets a mindset that removes our grabbing a soda and donut for breakfast.
You probably do need that high of a percent of daily vitamins because most people don't eat a balanced diet, plus physical and emotional stress will deplete them quickly in your system.
My guess is that the stuff in AG1 works better on an empty stomach and vitamins D and K absorb better when taken with food. Maybe why they're separate.
I’ve been taking AG1 for a year now. You can’t put a price on nutrition. It’s $100 per month so not cheap. They are both good. You should at least take one of them.
Athletic Greens vitamin E dosage is WAYYYYY too high. Studies have shown that over time, large vitamin E supplementation has deleterious effects on health. Also, when you say vitamin D and vitamin K work together, that is not entirely true. It MUST be k2 (mk4/mk7 variants).

I agree. AG1 is really pricey. Thanks for checking out my video!

Long time user of Lairds Daily Greens. Love it. the deal with the monthly subscription is a no brainer. 1/2 the cost of AG1 for a very similar product
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Great review, exactly the breakdown I was looking for.
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks, I’ll check it out.
Thanks for this video! I love AG1 but I will definitely try Laird to compare 😀
Awesome...let me know what you think!

Sounds like you found your groove.

Great point and thanks for the info!

Makes sense

Good point!
Placebo effect much 😊
Not really a bad thing tho if that's what it does...@cii5korea217
Would you consider a review on Daily Harvest. I’ve been loving this product to help me get my plant based daily doses, pretty pricey 👍🏻
I'll check it out!
Don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but AG1 is getting rid of the plastic scoops in the package.
Interesting...good to know. Thanks for the info!
I love Lairds because I can pay with my EBT!
Nice!

You do have a good point.

Interesting. Never thought of that. But I’m not a certified nutritionist, so I don’t know for sure.
🤔Thats a no brainer...Laird Superfoods is the ONE...
😁
This was great! Can you do a review on the Huel Greens product as well?
Thanks! I’ll check it out and maybe do one.
@@FitnessFinance4u Thank you! As always, really enjoy your videos!
Good review!
Thanks D!

I'd be careful of its vitamin E content. Read up on studies regarding high doses, over time, of using vitamin E.
İ bought huel daily greens but i will try larrys next time definitely
I'm trying Huel next!
Somebody could have told me YOU were Laird Hamilton and I'd believe them.🤣 You look like him!!
You are too kind! I wish I could surf like him!
New follower here, love your content. What about Green Vibrance from Vibrant Health?
I'll check them out!
im sure these products are good, but I am currently failing to see how they are that much better than a cheap multi vitamin
I think there is an advantage to absorption of vitamins through liquid form.
I've read that Laird Daily Greens also has some added brain health benefits with their added adaptogens. Any insight on this?
Jason, I don't know much about that. But you might find more info on their website?
how do you feel about brickhouses field of greens?
I don’t know that brand. Maybe I’ll check it out.

thanks for clarification on K2 and vitamin D!
