This game is brilliant. My only issues are the jumps and the respective animations being a little glitchy and the levels are short. Otherwise, a great well done.

when i played for the first time i noticed that this remake is bad, so i going to talk about why this remake is a piece of trash
1. Worst Controls: Unlike the original mega drive game, sonic controls poorly as sometimes sonic can't jump on the right time when the player was playing, which makes even more worse and unfun for the most worst part
2. Bad Hit Detection: unlike the original game, sometimes sonic can't defeat the enemy on the top on his head because of hit boxes that very bad as they are and even the first boss that after i defeated the first boss, the first boss for some reason appears again for no reason at all, well, is because the first boss is very bad programmed
3. Ugly Graphics: the graphics are very ugly especially for sprites, here some exemples why the sprites in this remake are ugly
. Sonic looks like a rip-off of scratch cat
. eggman looks like a human with a potato head
. the enemies are very ugly on the their sprites
4. Worst First Boss: the first boss that i said earlier, is a piece of trash!!!!!!, and the hit box for this boss is completety bad, the reason why this boss is very bad that i said earlier is because the entire boss is very bad programmed
5. the first cutscene is just a bunch of images and that it
6. worst level design: sometimes is very hard to beat level because how poorly the level design is and even is even sometimes is hard to defeat enemies because the level design is very bad
7. the developer logo antimation for the start of the remake is very awful because the framerate is very bad and the animation is piece of a disaster
8. the developer behind this remake called superhero_479, made a poor job to make remake of sonic 1 for mega drive
9. the thumbnail is very ugly
this remake have good qualties, so, i going to talk about the good quatities
1. Backgrounds are very good from this remake
2. this remake have some good things and etc
3. despite the remake being mediore, is happy to see that a developer made a remake
4. despite the remake not as good as the original game, it may have some good quatites behind the bad quatities
5. despite the developer made a poor job to make this remake, is great that the developer was trying to make a remake of a 1991 sonic mega drive game
