I just stumbled on to your videos. I make a practice of following a handful of women each year. I smiled when you mentioned Stella and Nahamsha. They were favorites of mine. I’ve aged out at this point but I did 900 miles section hiking back in the day. And I love seeing places I’ve been. I’m looking forward to Franklin. I’ll try to comment often. Keep on hiking! Bits ‘n’ Pieces
Wednesday, March 13th: Nice view. Good video. Albert Mountain Fire Tower. Rock Gap Mountain log book. Thanks for sharing this part of your journey. Good luck! Happy Trails! Ross08
Love that you stayed to soak in the reward, the gift, of Standing Indian Mountain and didn't leave immediately to get to your next destination 👏👏👏☀️. Happy day!
What an awesome vlog! Great views mixed in with discourse and music! While the uphill climbs seem to be a struggle, you take them with such amazing beauty and grace. Thanks for taking us along your journey. Stay safe and happy trails!
I really enjoyed your format for this blog. Not too much dialogue but enough to provide context. Nicely done. You’re doing great. You’ll be doing more miles per day soon enough. It’s your hike; enjoy it! Good luck up the trail.
Did write the poetry another channel shared from a log book on 3-4- It was about how lucky to be a mosquito born beside this lake under this tree ……..? It was signed Jess & under BlueBirdBlazes. Beautiful poem & I’d like you to share these. If you’d photo & include it would be wonderful. Ty
Love your background music. It’s so soft and emotional!! It transmits vibes of peace, joy, and hope for a better future!! You are doing a great job!! Congratulations 😊
I just saw a lot of you hiking w/ one of my favorite channels. Hiking w/ New England. Y’all were fun to watch. Funny how you’ll meet & hyoh & meet yet again later. This is a beautiful hike. The music is good too.
May I recommend an original song written about the mountain wilderness ? DON'T GO UP TO THE MOUNTAIN TOP WITHOUT ME (c)2006 FROM JAMES MONAHAN ORIGINAL SONGS.
Start by saying I appreciate the Vlog, but secondly the very laid back approach to making miles is very alarming. If you have 6 months to complete I believe you need at least 12 miles a day. Just going by what I have seen here on RUclips, there might be a flip flop for you in the future. :)
Good job over 100 miles, nice video with some good views, so let's keep on hiking 😊
Hey Jess, short and sweet - another winner- and yes you are so loved by us for sure😍 doing great sweetie, thanks, enjoy!
Thanks so much!!

I love seeing folks on trail, losing em for a bit, then seeing them again :)
Great video!
Super cool trail footage at 2:37.
Nice Dark-Eyed Junco at 2:50 (used to be called Slate-Colored Junco, which seems a better name for this bird).
I’ve been wondering what these goofy little birds are called!! Thanks for the comment :)

These days are going by really fast 😂 .... for me
Beautiful! Would you be able to tell me if there are any places for hammock campers near that campsite on Standing Indian mountain?
Plenty of hammocking trees!
Just think of all those poor saps under the clouds and their drizzly/overcast day…
😂
enjoying your vloggs. background music a bit loud imo
Noted!

True, though I think she's building up to higher miles, getting her trail legs, and not overdoing it too early in the hike. ✌🏼
This!
@@JessHikesTrails I would like to see 12 miles in the next Vlog. Please and thank you. 😊
@@christopherdurand8912Hike your own hike and don't put expectatiuons on someone else. The frickin' nerve!
