It has the potential, but the issue I see is that crit damage, in pvp, would make you do less damage than normal attacks. Think about it, if a weapon has 50% crit damage and the artifact removes 50% crit damage, then any crit damage reduction from armor makes you go into the negative. If you attack a heavy armor guy, you are losing the same amount of damage either way, but now you are also losing 25% of the base damage. It's just bad. Thy should change it to only reduce crit damage by 25% and even then I'm not sure it would be used.

Pretty sure this has not changed (dont play spear but my son did) To save some people time. Spear crits has a hidden cool down. You can not spam it into unlimited stam Similar to armor perks with max amounts and cool downs. So you wont see 0-100 in one attack regardless if you crit 10 things Edit: also for how easy it is to crit/back etc with the right gear/perks I dont see this change being that noticeable on a spear. You used to be able to crit and get 20 stam with zero cool down but that was nerfed over a year ago and for good reason. Its too easy to crit.
No, but with normal stam recovery you will get a lot of sustain via the passive especially if you take the passive to make back hops cheaper after an attack. One crit won’t send you to 100 stam in just one attack. With hearty allowing 3 hops you’ll never be exhausted with this
