@6:41 nice piece of driving on a front wheel drive car ( i assume its front wheel drive ) My instinct is to let off the gas, which in this case would have resulted in a spin out, but this guy kept on the gas and "pulled" it through the corner. I admire folks who can race those little monstrocities.............
I know its a video of crashes, but it was a crime to cut off the video right when the Porsche started to accelerate at 1:01 :( amazing sound the would have been!!
So that thing in the road usually on a straight away it's called a chicane it is meant to slow you down and keep your overall speed down so here's the secret you need to slow down before you go through them. 🤯
Those irratating tires!! why do orgranizations always have to put up those dumbass tires... The road itself is exciting enough, we dont need a tire slalom in our lives!
that was a great compilation, sadly most of comments are from people who probably could not drive their finger up their arse or even reverse a car. just saying.
Seen a lot of motorsports events my life, but never had the chance for a hillclimb. Where can i read abaout the technical specs (regulations) for the cars? Rgds!
SheldonV8: I dont want to go in to it, just interesseted, how the cars can be prepared. I was a race mechanic about 4 decades ago and the Nürburgring is just 20 minutes away from my home. So i still watch motosports and have some technical curiousity in it. Anyway: Thanks for your input.
Its different for every championship but it mostly comes down to unlimited classes - cars with as many mods you want (E1) , road cars with minimum tunes (group N) , formula cars (E2) , prototypes (E2), cars with motorcycle engines etc.. hillclimb has a lot to offer, its just hard to explain.
2:08 What happened there? It looks like his rear end was sliding out nicely to get around the corner, but then suddenly the rear grips and the front shoots to the outside. Why?
listen to that engine failure at 8:48 !!! der Opel Kadett ...un bel porco di "Motorplatzer" -viel Spass bei der Motorrevision - falls der Motorblock überhaupt noch brauchbar is...:-)
why is it that rookies allways brake way to late, then overbrake & slide straight into what they were trying to avoid in the first place.a senceless destruction of equipment & guarenteed way lowering your finishing position, assuming you have enough car left to finish.
Actually, with enough skill you can brake just as well without ABS, but you get the safety of being able to lock up the wheels if you need to (for example if you spin). However, these guys kinda don't have the skill of driving without ABS haha.
barry phillips I really don't see why they have these chicanes not one off the cars made it through with out hitting one we don't have them in England at all
Experts
Novices
Amateurs
Beginners
and then these guys.
Thanks for the laughs and for proving rallying is a sport for everyone!
Die erste Szene bei min. 0.09 ist im Mühlviertel bei der Jännerrally.....(Österreich - Austria)
min. 1.40 ist auch im Mühlviertel bei der Jännerrally
Word of wisdom, if you want to be a great competition driver always drive at 8/10 on public roads that are not race tracks.

Do they stack those tires on the track without telling the drivers? They all seem suprised to see them there.
A tip for some drivers: You need to go around the tyre barriers, not through.
omg same
I know its a video of crashes, but it was a crime to cut off the video right when the Porsche started to accelerate at 1:01 :( amazing sound the would have been!!
1:08 i used to do that in Gand Turismo. Just floor it, and it corners like it's on a ramp.
pete smyth init 😂😂
Same here dude
xDDD
I love the little Fiat shitboxes with the rear covers propped open so the squirrels can breath!
@4:59 even the officials are running. Driver: "if in doubt, flat out"
0:43 Unique sound. What's the name of this car? What type of engine does this have?
1:48 is that an older dsm? if so i cant beleive more of them arent use for rallying, awd light little monsters
8:44 had to laugh hard here. the slogan "opel... what else" would have been the icing on the cake!
exactly man, I immediately looked into comments and searched for opel. And it was the first one :D
loved the hertz car going around... bet the rental office won't be too impressed when he brings it back on a tow truck...
0:15 and the infamous Yugo instantly shatters all of the negative cliches associated with it...
9:00 track rescue comes out with fire extinguisher...stands about...fire goes out..TR starts using tool. TRAINING NEEDED.
so Richard Hammond it seems is driving most of these cars...
Jari Gustafsson HAHAHAHAHAHA
5:57 VOLLTREFFER
Naja. Zu 3/4 erwischt's eh die kleinen Tuning-Hüpfer. Natürliche Auslese. Aber bei manchen Autos tut das zuschaun schon weh.
0:43 that sound 👌
00:43 dude seriously underestimated the grip of that tuned jellybean
If only he'd kept his foot in it...I think he'd have negotiated the turn. It was looking good up until he let off.

The Sound of this Video is Superb!
So that thing in the road usually on a straight away it's called a chicane it is meant to slow you down and keep your overall speed down so here's the secret you need to slow down before you go through them. 🤯
8:50 you can hear the connecting rods
Those irratating tires!! why do orgranizations always have to put up those dumbass tires... The road itself is exciting enough, we dont need a tire slalom in our lives!
I am convinced that half of these guys CANNOT drive. When you see a chicane, SLOW DOWN!
2:57 never thought i'd see an F1 car in a rally WTF
Speyedr its a hill climb not a rally 😒😒
It's not F1 car, it's F4 car and that isn't rally.
very nice video i like it! cool cars and action!
Presume the tyres are there to slow them down to prevent a crash but all they seem to do is cause the crashes, bad decision.
In all video games I've played I have always hit those stupid tire chicane
Just to test drivers ability to brake and steer under surprise
@@snappy7981 test safety aswell
7:09 These tires are just a wee bit too close to the racing line. I'll just reposition them like... so!
that was a great compilation, sadly most of comments are from people who probably could not drive their finger up their arse or even reverse a car. just saying.

Join your local motor club and join in by having a go at marshalling first. Easy to get into but Hillclimbing is very expensive per mile.

9:20 Driver be like :'' You gotta pop the hood bro, those vents are fake''
This is what happens when you try to race anything with 4 wheels.
Bei 4:16: was heißt hier: "net scho wieda?" - Immer wieder, immer wieder, g'scheiter werd'n sie nimmer....
It is lucky for these guys that stupidity is not a crime, because most of them would be serving life sentences.
Don't remove ABS if you don't know how to brake without it..
2:08 What happened there? It looks like his rear end was sliding out nicely to get around the corner, but then suddenly the rear grips and the front shoots to the outside. Why?
He moved the round thing in front of him. Steering wheel I think they call it....
Steering Wheel to the right and feet on the throttle caused that

I was thinking at 0:50 that he's crashing into the trees, but for god's sake it was just a zoom camera angle 'trick'.
A 8.44 : il y a des bielles et des pistons sur la route avec un vinaigrette sauce 5w40...ouf pauvre Opel.
The opening salvo looks a lot like Austria - anyone know exactly where it is?
Channel Alf This event is part of the Styrian Hillclimb Cup and the track is in Pöllauberg.
Greetings *KDW Entertainment*
that evos transmission had enough
I really feel for that poor evo driver, just a little too much throttle and it's already lost
That was awesome! Thanls for sharing
Anybody know the name of those square body cars that may remind you of a small mustang?
Without a timestamp I'd say you're talking about a ford escort mk2 or an opel c kadett
0:25
I don't know squat about cars really but I love the Ford escort for sure, and what is the black care at 0:25 ? Thanks bro
Car*
@@RandoManFPV yep that's a ford escort mk1, it's the same in 1:29
What's with the tire traps???
Pollice in su per la bestemmia 👍🏻
dagli la rossa 🤣
I don't understand using tires to mark hazards seems pointlessly dangerous
The award for the dumbest fire marshal in the world goes to the last guy.
0:36 / 1:55 - No.87 is taking all corners like that since he was told drifting is cool
8:34 Frustrating heartbreak at the ersatz chicane. Need better guidelines for the corner volunteers when placing barrier.
Not the fastest fireman in town ... 😂😂😂
wow wow great video ! keep up the good work
I don’t understand why they remove ABS on the road... on loose gravel but not necessary for hard road
Actually, with enough skill you can brake just as well without ABS, but you get the safety of being able to lock up the wheels if you need to (for example if you spin). However, these guys kinda don't have the skill of driving without ABS haha.
00:43 OMG that sounds better than a v8
Endresz Marton Magyar?
There are 500meters in front of you to turn your car to but nooooo you have to crash into that one tree
BEST?????? you called these BEST???????
I think we should go easy on these people, must of them seem to have never driven before.
These are some of the damn worse drivers I have ever seen. Put up a brick wall and let them drive into it!
Why tires on road it s crazy
Can't drive a cat downstairs with a broom.
8:24 that gtr idle is nutty
Isnt that an Audi TT?😂
Just because you build a rally car doesn’t mean you can drive it 😂 😂 😂
Was the guy making the fire extinguisher ffs!
6:42 Nice drift...;)
8:35 also irgendwie hats der Veranstalter nicht verstanden, es soll schaffbar sein da durch zu fahren XD
Last one must've had an eBay turbo on it.
Some of these people have money but no driving ability
The chicane made three bundles of tires, was not very successful, hardly any made it thru without carnage.
barry phillips I really don't see why they have these chicanes not one off the cars made it through with out hitting one we don't have them in England at all
4:32 VTEC!!!!
4:28 ? 😄 , This is the car 7:44 ! 😄
Porsche made a shortcut 4 the rest!
He zigged when he should have zagged.
also ich wär dafür die dämlichen reifenstapel da weg zu machen. wegen der freien sicht uns so...
VAMIRACING hen B.B. bggggb
Ich auch. Die bringen ja eigentlich net viel.
Freie Sicht... 😆
Das sollen Schikanen sein ☝️
0:37 omg
Those tyre walls staggered on the track are so f#@king pointless!
5.51 . . Not impressed with the marshal smoking and waving a red stick instead of the flag!!!
sheldonv8 its not the marshal
In this video, Opel car are On Fire 🔥 😁
I shall carefully restore a 50 year old classic car and then ram it into tires and rock walls.
J ai vue un Opel Kadett moteur 2 ou 1 jz et sérieux sa marche grave
My God! These Guys are LOUSY Drivers!
3:42 Оpel cadett RIP.
3:00 Holy fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck bru, driving a formula like a rally car XD
Yondoodle It is a Formula3000
The carrozery end the sound ar very similar at a v12 F1
I figured that's why I was cautious about using the class number. Thanks for clearing it up!
Yondoodle You're welcome
5:43 ci facciamo riconoscere OVUNQUE
3:35 Seriously !?
0:48 "fuuuuuuuuu...." Can you imagine how those trees look once you lose control?
0:15 is this suzuki s800 ?
That's a yugo.. 😂
Awesome Busso V6 at 1:50

8:53... Brats are done!
What's the car at 5:27?
Julio Checchi 124 spider
5:42
"dio porco" da cinema.....
And that, ladies and gents, is why we have ABS.
Rather large case of ambition outweighing talent every time !
That is so me playng dirt rally
8:50 pistons and blokk game over 😲
Gergő Cs. And the connecting rods
why do they put the fking tyres in the road, cause untold damage !!
It's a cheap man-made chicane to slow them down in that section. No one likes driving them.
SCREEEEECH!!! CRASH!!! tinkle tinkle tinkle.....
