Mr. Viper, kill one enemy in feudal age (one with the best late game civ so he is no danger in the end) and ignore the other two at first. Then you play 1vs2 late game with the other AIs which is doable for a pro like you.
i think kill one in castle age and have at least two castles in your base, ai are literally stupid and will try to destroy the castle with regular units
@@jonavuka I think they won't attack a castle unless they have rams. Those might be on the other side of the map but at least for tougher HD AI, it applies for sure.

I think in 1 vs 3 and 1 vs 4 kill one in feudal and delay castle time for a second opponent, then in castle make sure you keep the dead one down and kill the second one and then play a 1 vs 1 / 1 vs 2 from mid castle to imp (which should be like teaming with DauT in a normal 2vs2, at that point its a 50%/50%) Because I'm a pleb I cannot do this myself but the strategy sounds good

Anyone able to get the Enhanced Graphics pack working on the Windows Store version? Mine stays grayed out despite multiple reinstalls. The base game seems too easy to run since my graphics card is only running at 30% at 1440p max settings.
It's definately possible, but I think it depends on what strategy the AI chooses. I just won a 1v3 game as Goths where only one went feudal aggression, and I just 3TC boomed into huskarls and raided them all to death.
You made a ram for pushing blue and even said that you're going for a kill on him and then just switched your knights to another. Just kill someone, as early as possible.

Looks like this game was lost due to the abundance of enemy pikemen and monks. Would have been nice to see ranged units and castles in those key points north and northeast of your base *much* earlier. That and some reinforcement of the wall on the southeast too.
Viper, as a professional in Esports, do you find that versing bots in challenging situations has an effect on your improvement in competition? I compete in FPS so your experience may not be relevant to me, but I'm always looking for ideas about how to get better.
The AI in AOE2 don't really do much that we can learn from. They are pretty much only an issue because they spam units and they can micro every single unit.
Is this sped up .25x? Watch the time in the middle of the top. It's going .25x too fast and if you slow it down to .75x it seems more natural to me? Maybe he does that to make himself seem quicker, maybe just to keep the videos shorter? IDK

You need to castle the hell out of your base. The AI doesn't know how to mount good pushes well, it just spams units. If you have a heavily fortified base you will hold. You need at least 4 castles in your base, then raid them incessantly. I think CA/magyar huzsar would've been a lot better. Their monk micro is insane. You took a lot of fights where they converted Pala of yours. Still insane though, I would've gotten rocked by 3 AI! Love watching your videos.
Against multiple HD AI, you need to kill one as soon as possible, especially the weak one (e.g. Kill at least one in Castle Age). Because the weak AI send its resource to feed its Ally. It maybe work at DE AI too, KEEP ON!!
Theviper bro please do a new 1vs2 extreme AI up to date, it's been updated too much since this series of yours "without relying on anti-ai exploits". I've been trying to win 1vs2 "sometimes i do" but man it's hard 😂 the older versions i was able to win 1 vs 2 but now i can rarely win 1 vs 2 " nowadays if my scouts APPROACH villagers they start running before i even hit them for example" so even the element of raiding surprise is gone.
Think he spread his focus too much, the big issue with ai is their micro so it's pretty easy to beat 1v1 with equal units. Splitting his focus might have slowed them down slightly but he was unable to deal critical damage to any of them, once they finish booming in castle age and it's still a 3v3 it's over. They can pump out 3x the units and have at least 2x the resources even with harassment. If you split it up and do a 2v1 then a 1v1 then considering how easily he handled the 2v1 earlier he should have it in the bag, still having enough left over to deal with the 1v1. Remember entirely killing even one of the ai effectively reduces k/d you need from 3/1 to 2/1. Particularly in castle age he was going for a delay strategy which is what you least want to do when up against multiple opponents, the more you delay against multiple opponents the more time they have to catch up. Think of it this way it takes 1/3rd of the time to reach the same point as you in eco, they start with 3 town centres to your one and produce villagers 3x as fast.
Could you try to beat 7 AI with the strategy to build wall around town center? On the HD edition it work very well. if you build something close their town center they don't attack you before 2 minutes and 30 sec if I remember well. After this time you have make bigger prison for the others town center. Take Mayan and train this strategy on small map.
there are Huns and Magyars ... same thing...(also why not just call Magyars in English = Hungarians) why there are no Romans then with Italians? or with the Britons, or also an English option is missing, near Persia there could be Iran nation too... game programmers should be tested in History subject too ...

Strain on graphics? I play at 1440p 144Hz and my RX5700XT on EK waterblock is not even using it's full clocks ever on full graphics in this game.

Viper you should garrison into rams more, it increases their damage and speed while keeping units inside safe

The Enhanced Graphics is its own DLC to the game. Make sure you have downloaded the DLC.

Try to play it 'cheap'. For exemple, with Bulgarians you can tower/kreppost rush 1 AI and resist/attack the others with military
