Unicron trilogy started good with Armada. If the DreamWorks Energon comic was the main plot for Energon animation it'd be remembered as a masterpiece series. The scout drones combine with the torso deluxes are Omnicons specializing in Super Energon. The Energon Decepticons didn't have their own Omnicons until Barricade and Steamhammer defected to the Decepticons and killed Dauntless Maximus the twin brother of Superion Maximus. Before that Megatron's Decepticons relied on stolen Terrorcons from Alpha Quintesson to refuel and arm up.
No....it wouldn't. Literally nothing is good about Unicron Trilogy. It is poorly dubbed, convoluted, haphazardly applied names of established characters, the animation is awful and despite owning it and watching it a few times, nothing sticks, not one plot point. It's like I'm blocking out trauma. If you like it, cool, but no.
I spent so much money on upgrades and Fansproject figures to make this more and more G1 Bruticus. Despite all the attempts, it never got close. How’s it go…a fool and his money.
Honestly as a update to the original scramble city the energon/superlink combiners even with their odd names choices i think were pretty good updates but their not perfect of course they have their flaws (say hello to your new back cibble champion you got there) I hope to get this and the rotf recolor. I have special plans for both like using the orignal energon/superlink bruticus maximus as a version of battle gaia I have also seen some used the energon/superlink bruticus maximus color scheme to represent a version of the shattered glass combaticons

Its not top tier, but at the time the last new combiners were in RiD, and not the established Scramble City design guys. However, Superion and Constructicon Maximus were pretty janky, and this one was the best of the three. The colors aren't great, and despite all this, I have an odd fondness for him. If you didn't collect Unicron Trilogy it's and easy pass, but I will totally die on the hill this toy is much better than WFC Bruticus any day.

I really enjoy FOC Bruticis but the deluxe those for him was a mistake. Thos is certainly more solid but he needed elbows
