Challenges to Language Documentation in Multilingual Contact Settings

A virtual roundtable discussion on the various approaches and challenges in documenting languages in multilingual contact settings in Southeast Asia, particularly in the Philippines and in Indonesia.
Joining the discussion will be Asst. Prof. Bradley McDonnell of the Department of Linguistics at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM), Asst. Prof. Maria Kristina S. Gallego of the UP Department of Linguistics and the Australian National University (ANU), and Asst. Prof. Diane Manzano of the Department of Humanities, University of the Philippines Los Baños. This virtual event will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Aldrin Lee and Instr. Vincent Christopher A. Santiago.
