    This is EXACTLY how I play this same tune on the Uulele, only for me, it's all in my head, in a distant reality where i am actually not terrible :///

    As I'm giving a look at most of the "All Of Me" renditions to fashion my own, this stands out for the subtle backing track, the light touch he gives this and the little improvising phrases that add a nice swing. Very nicely done and I'll steal some of this.

    I have to admit that I'm absolutely amazed!
    I've played and taught the ukulele for a while now, I've followed all the "internet uke stars" but I've never been as fascinated as I'm with your playing. I really like the effortlessness and the "air" in your playing. You seem to play for the sake of the song, not for your own reputation as a technically great player - which you are, anyway.
    It's a shame I haven't found you long before!

    • @karli34
      @karli34 7 лет назад +6

      Nobody plays like this by coincidence.
      1. Turn off your computer/smartphone
      2. Start rehearsing today
      3. Rehearse with confidence and joy for only 30 minutes
      4. Practice one measure at a time, but seriously
      5. Practice extremely slow, keep the beat in time
      6. Increase your speed only when your current speed works fine
      7. Repeat from step #2 until you got it at slow pace
      8. Finally, play it by heart very often, increasing the tempo at will
      Good luck :)
