Hallo Petrek Guitars, einfach tolle Arbeit super gefilmt - macht Spaß zu kucken. In meinem nächsten Leben werde ich guitarrenbauer. Meditativ auch das wegpusten
Petrek Guitars..In fact it is not a ''Squier by Fender Bullet Precision Bass''....It is in fact a Squier Bullet One bass made by FujiGen Gakki in Japan...In 1981-82, FujiGen obtained the Fender Japan contract which lasted until 1996-97....FujiGen also built Orville by Gibson under contract and Epiphone Japan solid body guitars, some Gretsch models and their own branded FGN guitars. FujiGen still manufactures OEM guitars for companies like Ibanez and Epiphone....but the Squier Bullet One was never built by Fender...
Not all necks can get their trussrod removed without huge damage/work. For instance double action trussrod necks are often having the trussrod glued and the nut cannot be unscrewed/removed. You have to open the neck to get it removed and it's a huge amount of work.
Thanks a lot for your Feedback. That's absolutely correct. Most of the times is much more time consuming than in this case. Feel free to check out my Trussrod repair Video on my RUclips Channel that I did one a Gordon Smith Guitar ... Puhh that was very intense. Best Regards Nik@@bapt_andthebasses

I don't want to ruin my guitar by doing something i have no idea how to do. 2. Most will say WOW you have been playing for 20 and don't know how to do adjustments to your instruments... Great job on the repair, If it wouldn't cost an arm and leg to ship to your area from The states. I'd love to have you do a repair on a bass i own. Cheers mate!!!!
Gotta love all the work and passion put into it!!! Leo designed the necks to be replaced but when you love that certain neck…gotta fix it. 👍🏼👍🏼 Cheers from SoCal!!
Very nice work. Do you have any ideas for a stripped truss rod nut in an Ibanez with a dual action rod? The Grabber tools don't quite work. I've read about putting wax on wrench, putting a bit of epoxy into the stripped nut, and letting it dry around the wrench. I haven't been brave enough to try that yet.
Thanks for your positive feedback. If you have a Double action Truss Rod you cannot remove the Nut to change it. The only way to fix this problem is changing the Trussrod. You can see this process in my Series (5 Parts) " Fender Jaguar Repair. Hope this will help you out. Best Regards Nik
Nice work, and great filming and educational content, but what's with the (massive) crack that appeared in the neck just above the trussrod hole at 31:36 just as you pushed the wood plug into the hole? Let's hope that the fish glue is holding it together.
Thanks a lot for your watching and your positive feedback. Don’t worry this crack is about 3-4 mm long and ends at the Nut. No problem for the Fish Glue 😉Best Regards Nik
