I never saw this episode as a kid but when Wordgirl popped back up with the clip of them arguing I was quite surprised by how serious it seemed.

I was screaming on my first watch when Beau showed up just like that and destroyed all tension. You'd think they would hold off on it for this episode or something.

I remember seeing this episode when it was airing and thought after this, their was going to be another season with the new characters (the dude who was something to deal with pentagons), only to find out that their wasn't and their was reruns of older episodes and the show ended. It would've been more impactful if Rhyme and Reason debuted in an earlier episode than this one, because it feels weird when Violet finds out Becky is Wordgirl and Rhyme and Reason are just there. Also literally 2022 was when Wordgirl was flooded on my fyp and I couldn't escape.
They still thought the show was going to continue during production of this episode.

Rhyme and Reason was a great episode and a great way for Wordgirl to go out on, even though there was room for more episodes. Also, while Rhyme is powerful, I wouldn't call her the most powerful in the series as Wordgirl is shown to be on par or even slightly stronger.

I watched this show so much as a kid, and It's really cool that the show got to go on for as long as it did, even if cut off before the creators intended. It may not have been the best episode but I love how much emotion they put into it. Really shows how much they care about these characters and their world! ❤

@@ChaloopaJoehmm... maybe the internet archive? the uploads usually get taken down pretty fast :c but amazon also has them (its really expensive to get access to tho!) and the pbskids app usually has random episode that change :D oh and there's some here on youtube but they're not in order nor from official sources. The episode rhyme and reason is way similar to the movie. The death of the Incredible Hulk starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno.
9:43 actully I think they do get defeated since Reason does say they get in trouble for the second crime and Rhyme was just destroying the city in anger I think normally they just pick up stolen stuff and leave.

First off, how are you and when we will get more videos?
Second, this episode is a solid season finale but it just didnt feel final. I think they shouldve told the crew to come up with an actual finale (i read your episode ideas and having Miss Power as the final villain felt more fitting).
Third, the two famous moments of the episode do what they need to do but im not as overly crazy about them like everyone (like them but not as much)

miss power as the final "boss" would've been so good. imagining a situation where wordgirl has to confront a big threat again and use what shes learned since their last battle plus her new allies would've been such a cool way to show how far she's come.

One thing, they might have been friends for 15 years, but I don't think they were criminals for 15 years. I got the impression that they're childhood friends who only got into crime recently.
Also yeah, Rhyme is basically a Miss Power level threat and the only thing seemingly stopping her from world domination is that she'd rather do petty crimes with her bestie

According to the Wordgirl fandom wiki page this episode "Rhyme And Reason" is the last episode of WordGirl that aired, due to Soup 2 Nuts shutting down.
And it's too bad.

I liked the episode, but it wasn't great enough to end the series. Partly because it wasn't supposed to, they had more episodes planned and written but Soup 2 Nuts when bankrupt after this. Maybe Wordgirl will return?
i got say i don't think this conclusion is awful but i does not feel like one it feels like more a stopping point but i wonder if pbs does finales that much also i never got why her parents could not know becky was wordgirl in the show
