Penguin looks like they took a page from the last Joker movie and went for more realism and merged it with the Sopranos. Hellboy has an Evil Dead vibe to it I like. Nothing else appealed to me. The new so-called Star Trek is a mockery of the franchise. Paramount, do the world a favor and sell the IP to someone who's actually seen an episode or a movie from original Trek.

@@vapoet They can be they just don't use the characters to their max potential and they avoid violence and more gritty material because they know kids are a large portion of superhero movie audiences and can't get away from that so the superhero movies always have a more shallow story, are bit more tame, and are generally bubblegum cause they have kids in mind. That's why Deadpool, Invincible, and the first season of The Boys were such smash hits they could have more action and deeper plots with darker tones.
I think it's better for Sam to have it while bucky kind has his own journey and stuff. I was upset originally bc bucky is one of my favs but Sam makes more sense as cap and definitely deserves the mantle and its make sense for Bucky to do something else. He needs to focus on himself before representing and entire country and potentially leading the world's greatest super heros.
Sam will never be Cap. He's just a normal dude. He can't possibly do what Cap did and deal with world threatening problems because he's weaker than Hawkeye.

In all the series, there was a "feel" to Starfleet" which is completely absent in Paramount Trek. TOS was a bit spotty, but TNG nailed it down. The rest of the series may have pushed the boundaries a bit here and there, but they always kept the primary feel and theme. Paramount Trek feels more like SyFy's Dark Matter or Killjoys with the Star Trek label stuck on. To me, SNWs "smells" better because we climbed out of the septic tank and now only smell our clothes rather than being stuck with the stench with the hatch closed. But YMMV 😁

Shout out to Clancy Brown, man! He’s been a Batman Staple Actor as far back as Batman The Animated Series! DC and Warner Brothers better keep paying that man and WELL because he’s always bringing life and spunk to the Batman franchise not to mention the other movies he was in for them. Shawshank Redemption, Pet Semetary and many other projects were boosted because of his acting skills. Dude is hella versatile and has an expansive range. I kinda want to see him in a comedic dad role just to see if he can pull it off because he’s so intense all the time.

WOW!! The Penguin will be getting the Joker treatment. Fantastic, and they got the best actor. He really transformed and yet nails it with the walk and all that. It will be a good movie. I also hope and can guess it will have a good plot too. I like these movies when they are not solely focused on Batman, but are within the Gotham universe, and you can see Batman enter, but if/when that ever happens there is this rich depth for characters like this. It also make a character of the Gotham Criminal Underground itself.
The first is too old now. The second was a total train wreck. The third, this one, looks damn cool, as does the trailer. I´ll give it a chance, this could actually be really good.
This Capt America trailer is not the SDCC trailer. The SDCC trailer is almost twice as long and has a ton more footage. This is just a run of the mill internet trailer.
