    All this Heihachi stuff really shows how much he was still good in the early games. He would have been top tier if Jin wasn't busy having the best move in Tekken history.

    I remember Heihachi having another follow-up after the delayed TGF. He does either a blue or red spark of TGF. Input for this attack df+1 after the shimmy step.

    If anyone has the arcade version of T4, Heihachi also has the blue spark hell axles WITHOUT the OTGF at the start, and it essentially hits grounded, so it could be used at the end of the combo for mega damage! And much more practical than OTGF starter. Removed from console version though..

    Heihachi is such an awesome character, easily one of Tekken's biggest icons! Reina and Kuma have some big shoes (sandals?) to fill.

    Regarding b1, it was actually worse on hit than on block funnily enough. It was -2 on block but on hit, it was -3. Early Tekken frames go wild. I will note that b1 was + on hit against a crouching opponent though. f4 was also -5 on block so that was uhh… something. One more funny frame related thing is that d1 was not only -8 on block but it was also -8 on Hit. Pretty wacky although d1 was mainly powerful when used as a combo ender or oki tool.

    Thats why is my favourite character, lots of hidden stuff and secret techs that you had to master and practice, i hope that reina will keep this side of heihachi's design, even though she has a more modern type of fighting style aka lots of jumps, dashes and stuff.

    His b2 on counter hit gave him a free twin pistons, leading up to some juicy damage.

    I kind of miss Heihachi's old f+3 Lightning Crush. It was a nice "get away from me" move. Guess they changed it up because they gave Kazuya a similar f+3 in later games.

    CD 441 as juggle prevented tech rolls, so you got a guarantied d+1 afterwards.

    For these information videos, you should see if you can try to show the inputs.. because to be honest, I never knew about the red spark or the hell axes after the thunder god fist. Always Cool to learn new things about a game I spent hours playing alone lol

    • @zp8377
      @zp8377 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@williamlindsey2744 I mean it was not bad, but red omens only occured due to execution error. You still did 30% more damage than regular omen and was not launch punishable at -15. At tip range you were only at -8 and not all chars had 8 frame fast jabs and sometimes even those whiffed due to the pushback. Also at a really specific range it became -7, so totally safe like blue omen.

    His d+1 was really broken move when it is hitted near the wall. You must hit by d+1 twice and then tech roll or else if you tried to tech roll after just 1 hit, you will get another roop of d+1 😂

  • @chetchetty

    He wasn't a monster but he was definitely underrated and underused. Old school players were just so turned off by ewgf not launching on rh. Whereas the game before, tag 1, it ran the whole damn show.

      @mwkan772  7 месяцев назад +1

    • @chetchetty
      @chetchetty 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@mwkan772 that's because tag 1 had a stamina system where a combo took way more damage off his bar than other characters. He had one of the worst stamina in the game.
