I did this in my driveway and it was a pain in the ass pulling those bolts through the bumper. Took me like 2 hours and $150 worth tools but I still saved $300.

At the dealership they wanted to charge me $250 for installing it, i said nope and installed it on my driveway too. Had to loan a torque wrench from autozone.

@@BeefPiston24 Your owners manual will tell you your vehicles capabilities. This hitch is rated for towing 6,000 lbs (GTW), with 600 lbs tongue weight. If you want to tow up to your vehicles capability, we have a class V hitch that is rated for 15,000 lbs. It's 4,000 lbs more than your owners manual recommendation, so even though the hitch is rated for 15,000 lbs you'll want to stay under 11,000 per your owners manual. Here's the video for that hitch: ruclips.net/video/qDs6pcBmVVU/видео.html

@@trailerhitches so per the manual it’s says max towing with class 3 bumper hitch is 5000 lbs and class IV is 11,000 I did what the gentleman in this video did by adding the part making class 3 a class IV hitch I just wasn’t sure since it’s a v6 rwd ram 1500 just wanted to make sure it’s accurate since I plan on pulling my wife’s 4,100 lb car to Colorado trying to make sure my truck can handle it lol
