Hey did you screw in the gs300 outer tie rods to the same spot as the stock ones?? I did and it toed in like crazy when I installed everything. I had to screw them in a couple more turns. Idk that was right
Shit I was just looking at buying these on the website so I clicked your video and was like damn it's Dbo I know him lmao I met him and Jason Evers at Midpond years ago. Small world
I currently run a 18x8 et+30 and I use a 25mm spacer for those which would make them a +5 offset. I also run a 17x9 et+0 and they fit a lot better then 18’s. With the 17’s I use a 235-40 and with the 18’s I use a 225-40 tire.
@@keikid1156 they will be ok on the street but with more speed and more grip at the track. It’s gonna shear ! And you are going to loose your entire knuckle / spindle .
I personally wouldn’t. The shear potential of bolts that long that are directly bolt to the knuckle seems scary. The angle adapter’s act like RCA’s also since the space the knuckle up
Those wheels are sick
How’s the longevity been with the Drift HQ angle kit? Had any failure with it? Or anything related?

Nah we just eye’d them up best as possible and we are going to get the alignment done. Hopefully lol.
Hi, do you need to hammer those collars in the knuckle adapter or do they just slide in? Those little silver centering spacers..
Yea I tapped them in with a plastic hammer, it shouldn’t take much. Just try not deform them and you’ll be alright.

Do you have the other link for the driver tie rod
Does it matter what year gs300 tie rods you run? What year gs300 did you use?
99-03 I believe is the years. It’s the same years gs300 as the is300. Just make sure to run them backwards
I barely saw that you replied, but Thanks for the help! I’ll make sure to do that.
can i know what is the safe wheel setup for this angle mods?

I ordered even cheaper PQY ones. Waiting for them to come and see if they work
Send them back or you are gonna be sent to the shadow realms 😂😂😂 I learned my lesson with those
@@KungFuJordan what happend to urs?

Lots of angle for a little money, what’s not to like!?
I wasn’t expecting those results honestly
Do you have adjustable upper control arms? I’ve got JZX uppers and I’m wondering if I will need any other inner tie rods to make it work
did u ever find out
So there not a direct fit?
would this work on a 99 Gs300?
Drift HQ states in the description of the adapter to run extended lower control arms. Are they necessary or is it just recommended?
Recommended. I do not have extended lower arms but you will need gs300 tie rods
Would it be dangerous to run RCAs on top of them? Idk if my big brakes will clear the tie rods
I personally wouldn’t. The shear potential of bolts that long that are directly bolt to the knuckle seems scary. The angle adapter’s act like RCA’s also since the space the knuckle up
@@FreeStyleMediaNola Yea i saw they’re their own RCA’s but they also move the tie rods up, I would order extended bolts too ofc
Do you have the ls400 brake calibers?
Do they push the wheel out and gain a bit of track width?
Sorry I’m just seeing this but yes it pushes them out about 1/2 inch. Not much but it is plenty enough for most power levels under 500
@@FreeStyleMediaNola how much poke do you gain?
I’m running model 5 18x8 +45. I’m not looking for much poke from where I’m at
I mean at the guard, do you gain poke? Tracks obviously pushed out from the plate
Is the gs300 tie rod only mod you need?
Yes, just be sure to run the backwards. Driver side on passenger and passenger on driver. That’s so they will clear the lower control arm at angle.
@@FreeStyleMediaNola Thanks!
