Building a refinery that meet world standards and has motivated the government to put more effort in the port Harcourt and Warri refinery makes him deserve such award.

He built a private refinery and commenced production plus sales and still brought down the pump price despite his over $20 billion invested on his private refinery despite the uncertainty of the Nigerian economy. The late Herbert Wigwe also deserves to be on the list of Thisday's Titan-of-the-year for facilitating majority of the funds spent on the Dangote refinery.
