Anyway regarding the Chao Garden, there's an egg there which you just need to rock it back and forth gently a bit and put it down for it to hatch. If you throw it at a wall to open it, that can harm the chao decreasing it's life span and you don't wanna do that! Tips - To access certain areas may require abilities you get later on For example, you now learnt how to dig with Knuckles so if you go back to Wild Canyon, you can go get the mystic melody power which is in the wall near the statue. Tips for Emerald Hunt (I banged out this mode) - Always look at your radar and surroundings, you may find an emerald piece or key just in your sight but it doesn't trigger the radar because it goes in order - If your struggling use hints, it can decrease points earned but it also saves lots of time. These are accessed by those floating monitors they give you 3 hints maximum per piece/key I hope you found these tips useful Mikey! Hopefully you see my comment cuz I'm always here to help! Also, the reason Tails has a chaos emerald is because in his story in Adventure 1, he stops one of Eggman's missiles from destroying Station Square, and he is rewarded a chaos emerald for it
Here is some help , if you wanna make hunting stages easier, get hints from monitors around the level and also when tracking emerald pieces go to the highest point in the level and glide down til the radar starts working

The Karate bit, Right so uh that's part of the Battle DLC, (Adds VS races too if you got some other lad to play with) Yeah don't expect High ranks on first playthroughs (ESPECIALLY TREASURE HUNTS) My lord i deadass spent 40 minutes as a kid in pumpkin hill and aquatic mine EACH, dw you're at least better than 8 year old me lmao. Thing about Sonic since the classic days is mastery and that being how you do cool stuff. (Altho classic sonic was WAY more exploration, If you like exploring 2D levels and fiddling with momentum, Classic Sonic and Mania got your back) Which unfortunately means your first playthrough of a level, WILL without a doubt feel the slowest and weakest. Trust me go back to City escape, Use Spindash downhills, bounce bracelets to quick land on rails. there's even some lightspeed dash spots Despite you not having it yet. The game is practically begging you to replay levels and if you learn the layouts and pull it off clean you will feel a special type of way i SWEAR ON GOD its fun. OH And the spin dash, Yeah you can charge it by holding it longer, ALSO Physics are somewhat ramped up while sonic/shadow is a ball. (Look at your run through Pyramid cave, Going super fast during those downhill segments while in ball form and Uncharged spin dashing uphill griiiinds you to a halt. charging it lets ya overcome just bout any hill.) Also how dare you call me and many others right out, Calling us all out on that hiding from parents staying up to grind SA2. You're right but how dare. glad you're still havin fun with it! Oh quick side tip and you MIGHT have noticed a White/Gold Beetle Gun bot (The Flying robots) that quickly dissapear. they're worth big points. Ay Mikey, when playing Tails stages, you don’t get score from destroying like pots njunk with the missiles Missiles fire from your cannon when you press the button, but holding it keeps your laser out for a while, during this time you want to lock onto enemies and specific stage things, you’ll know it’s working cause the number on the lock on goes up You get higher points for a higher lock-on number! But the max points you get stops after locking onto 11 things, so if you’re going over, GENERALLY let it fire and lock on to more for a higher score, but usually you’ll be fine as long as you can juggle decently high lock on numbers, ring count, and getting through the level at a decent pace 👍 ALSO for Sonic! While you’re spindashing if you hit the action button again, he’ll start running again, which also allows you to start up yet another spin dash, then start running again, and again and again. Hard to master but it can be useful if you get the hang of it! Helps you to keep up the speed on flat ground and uphill
A little tip with getting A-ranks with Sonic: To get the highest score possible you have to destroy the enemies simultaneously in one big chain. The chain ends when you run out of enemies or when you touch the ground. The bounce bracelet comes in handy for getting the highest chain link. Sure you may be hitting the ground but the ability counts as an attack thus not sacrificing your combo, giving you a lot more distance between groups of enemies. Also don't worry about the time doesn't affect the score as much as the bots do, however it's recommended to go as fast as you can. Hope this helps!

You can homing attack on the rails to go faster mikeeey and you can pretty much use the homing attack anywhere its not where you have to lock in or be above the enemies or object
@@mikeeey300 i think unleashed would be better with a remaster or port, just upres the textures and maybe remove the medal grinding and the games already peak Sa2 is a lot older so it needs a lot more work out into it
Dont feel bad at all for taking forever on the emerald hunting stages. Theyre such big stages that all you can really do is just sightsee until you get a signal.
The one thing I haven't seen anyone tell you, is that when you die, you lose all your points- so for example, that really messed with your rank in the desert Tails level.
By the way, to do the chao karate you need the battle dlc (which adds content from the GameCube version of the game) I think it’s like 3 bucks or some shit, but it’s worth it to see baby’s beat the crap outta each other 😂 It also adds more expanded multiplayer mode if you got any friends and wanna do a multiplayer video some day 🤔
Yo mikeeey. In all of the levels there is a golden flying robot that gives you 1000 points. if you destroy it. If your struggling on good ranks then you should definitely destroy it
It’s completely expected if it’s your first few times especially if you only played the demo, which I did at Walmart when I first heard of it and I sucked ass at it, but it’s another when you’ve played it for years, and should KNOW how to play it, and you STILL have a “skill issue”.
