- we had our first nesting event 2023 and Laacer gave us the honour to be our mommy. it was a tough event. everything was against us at the start. the game, the server, my stupidity ^^ anyway, we managed to raise our kids and only one died, but, also not, tough to say XD

@@da.mombie Both sound lovely, my stego that is in the EU2 is female and I have never nested as pachy or stego actually, so either one is fine :D pachy is sadly in the horrible EU6 that has same problems as EU7 so I might regrow new one in EU3 :D
@@Laacer well, my stego on EU 3 is just at about 50% growth anyway. my deino on EU2 also died recently, so, I could raise a male stego on EU2. will take a week or two tho, as I'm pretty busy at the moment. if so, then EU 3 is free and I could raise a pachy there. so, we will find a way... like life ;-)
I bet those baby stegs were overwhelmed to be surrounded by so many tenos 😂😂
yeah, poor little ones didn't look happy about the many tenos around. but, SkeleSabiArtist even defended them vs omnis later on. at least she said, I didn't see it :)

a nesting event by two of my favorite isle youtubers??? i love it! hopefully some day, i'll be able to wake up early enough to participate! XD what a hectic start too, but it looks like it turned out to be so much fun! i bet those two baby stegos were shocked seeing so many tenos swarming them lol
are you from America? 'cause if so, I have some more from that timezone and so, I may do an event later (my time), so, probably around noon your time. we may even play on a NA server, if most of you are based there. I will probably lag then, but, the other way around all of you would probably lag :/

@@da.mombie yes im in america! particularly in the EST timezone! i actually play on EU servers as much as i do on NA servers, and i havent noticed any terrible or frequent lag on my side, so i think i would be alright either way :D i’ll do my best to make it to the next nesting event if you plan another! 🙏😁
@@mr.unfortunate I will do more events and I may set the time frame a little later for the next one. interesting. my ping to NA servers is above 200 :/
i wish i was a part of this family i tried growing a teno all the week and everytime i grow a bit i find a canni tenos or just die to carno pack bc i cant find a herd, it was really fun to watch this we need more nesting in your vids! XD

Hehe, swamp is always to nest at as... well stegos, tenos and pters, tho I ge twhy it can get boring. Also adorable kids, but I felt bad for the 2 little stegos ears.

swamp is way more easy, but, I was born there 3-4 times already and also nested there myself. I want my viewers and myself to have another experience :)

lovely video, the kids were so cute and full of energy! If you like to change nest locations, then i dare you to nest in center plains or cliffs and fight to defend it xD that would be stressful!
thx mate ♥ I already nested with stego in the center and loved it. but, for those events I prefer a place with a higher chance to survive ;-)

@@littlemadster lol, I just wanted to say that I personally love the center to nest. but, in the events are many players who want to play with me. they managed to get some time, so, I don't want to risk their experience. if that makes sense ;-)

I like the fact that you can spend literally hours tryna grow a dinosaur then if u die, it all resets
yeah, you need a different mindset for this kind of games. I "learned/got" that in dayz. you have to see every life as a run. some runs are good, some bad, some long, some short, some funny, some with many action, love, drama or whatever. so, everytime I die, I do not think like, jeez, I lost everything. it is more like, it was a good (or bad) life and I am curious what will happen in my next run :)
@@da.mombie yeah, im used to it. I play roguelike games. Resetting at the last boss/stage is pretty much normal to me.

Hii mombie, this was such a fun event! Always nice to see a different experience and of course, the things I missed when I had to log.
That utah at the start which attacked our nest came out of nowhere and killed me instantly, so I joined the nest again and hatched from another egg once I heard it was safe.
So I guess that makes me the youngest child, even though I grew much faster!
Awesome that the nesting event series returned, I'm curious will you ever do events for dinos like carno or utah? Or will it just be repeats, since now we have 2 teno nesting event videos

I may do an event with omni, as it isn't as tough with food anymore. carno tho, I don't know. I am already stressed at these events anyway. carno is so brutal with food. easy as solo, very tough as family tho.

yeah, it is pretty stressful and confusing at times. but, it is also a lot of fun and a very different gameplay :)
I read your message very late and was thinking, we met a little stego in the woods at some point (as you saw in the video), but, other than these 5 seconds, there was no stego. wait, now that I say, there was a big stego with a little stego also. oh and the two little stegos of course. jeez, dunno. so, yeah, it is confusing. Respekt!! Das war mal echt gelungen. Trotz der ganzen Schwierigkeiten am Start, kam doch noch etwas richtig schönes dabei raus. Meiner Freundin hätte das sicher mega gefallen. Sie mag Tenos total (spielt aber nur croc, keine Ahnung warum XD) und findet solche großen Herden eh nice :D

Your family was so cute! I haven't tried nesting yet and would like to give it a go. How do you find a mate? Can you just ask someone of the opposite sex to nest with you or is that weird? I don't play often so I don't have friends on The Isle. I'm new to this as you can probably tell lol. Great video as always. 👍
thx mate ♥ in my nesting events I organize me partner before. but, I also nested ingame already. so yeah, if you find another player of your species, then just ask in chat if he/she or somebody (if you meet a group) want to nest with you. wish you good luck for your first family 🤗
Giving birth in game is an amazing thing, taking away is different story. I like this video too and soon congratz to the 5k sub. 200 left so go go yellow screen.
Other topic, I played on EU5 an omni, that was heartbreaking to kill a baby stego and looking in the eyes of the poor animal. Sad thing but food is needed for us. On a later time I died despite i did nothing wrong by carnos. Those are usually annoying to any other creature unless you are deino or stego grown up.
Also there is a lot of isle youtuber so you possible could go with most on collab. I do no have favorite but I do watch nowadays more often isle content other than that I do watch a lot different game or non game topics.

@@da.mombie Usually which server you are in? just out of curiosity. The Eu5 and Eu6 was teribble in the past week and weekend.
@@sziklamester1244 I agree, I have different dinos on EU1-7. EU5, 6 & 7 were awful recently. so many crashes or high pings between.
I feel like I wasn't even in the event 😂 I dont remember 8:03 happened at all, good parents tho, the kids never knew the danger was there.
Once again I really loved the event and I'm happy to now watch it as video, it really brought a smile once again on my face✨

2:28 Feel you, few weeks ago I was about to nest on rock with my mate and we couldn't (we tried couple days later and still nothing) Where I can delete the safe files? It might come handy in future if i would like to nest again XD
they are to find at C:\user\your(or pc)name\AppData\Local\The Isle
be aware, ALL your settings get lost. the dinos are safe, as they are on the server, but all sound/graphic/key settings are gone. and so are your skins.
there is a way to delete the safe files without deleting your skins and settings, but, I forgot how. you have to google ;-)

interesting, thx. well, they acted (and kept) friendly, so, I can't say anything bad about them.
They were probably saying that to their own groupmembers, they kept play fighting (biting each other) so I think they were just friends that gave some tough love each other, I'm same with my friends lol.

the uncle literally is stuck, you just broke your leg and fell down the cliff and laacer has almost no food and water and THEN a utah appears, all in a matter of minutes xD
it was definitely an eventful start
It's such bad advertising for The Isle when content creators, who have better machines than the average person, has to do this level of time consuming troubleshooting just to do one of the basic features in the game. You had to delete the save files ... and like, if you're not on the discord to ask that, you just have a broken game forever. Love the video, i'm just so disappointed every time i see the content: hackers, trolls, racism, people pretend to sexually assualt each other, fatal errors CONSTANTLY, and then things like this to top it off, editing files just to nest. All while you can lose your spot on the server. Incredible game
first of all, thx ♥ but, it feels like you are a little frustrated. which is fine, sometimes I also get mad about stuff. it's normal. personally I am quite relaxed about the game tho. it is an alpha game. still not even half way through the develeopment. so, I don't mind bugs and server crashes. even if they are annoying of course. trolls are also in every game. racism and sexually assault is "new" to me tho. honestly, in almost 2 years of playing evrima, there were "only" about 3-5 situations with people who wrote real bad stuff in the chat. which is already too much, but, still way less than I experienced in almost every other PVP game. I'm sad if you have these experiences more often :/ I don't like such behaviour at all.
