This is honestly first time I saw someone play Resident Evil and go "WAIT THIS IS A ZOMBIE GAME?" Never change Enna, you are awesome.
Kind of shocking to find such a complete RE newb that hasn't even been spoiled by memes.
Add in a terrible sense of direction and Enna's play through is equal parts painful and hilarious.

Felt that people should know this when playing RE2, and hopefully Enna reads this too.
1. Shoot the normal zombies in the leg until the leg gets cut off. Make them crawl on the ground.
2. No need to kill everything to conserve ammo. They can't run after you anyways now that they've lost a leg. If you do need to kill them:
3. Then knife the hell out of them while they're on the ground. This way lets you conserve more bullets rather than trying to shoot them in the head (then they just get back up later).
That's it I guess? Will edit later if I remember more.

Mr. X follows you around the police station. He is attracted by sound, so if you make a lot of noise (gunshot, footsteps, etc) he will go in your direction. And if you stay in the same place for a long time he'll also find you, because he keeps actively checking every room of the place and moving around.

In the hopes that Enna sees this comment, RE2 remake here actually will adjust its difficulty based off of how you're doing, if I'm not mistaken. If you keep missing shots, it'll make your shots do more damage. You'll never run into a situation where you softlock yourself because damage adjusts dynamically

Resident Evil 2 was made when the series was still completely under Japanese developers, so all the protagonists got to be young and hot. Only Western developers make old and/or ugly protagonists.
Even after the series incorporated heavy Western developers, due to the series' popularity in the West, all the protagonists are still pretty look-looking, Chris is just an old man now. But still, the influence of Western developers clearly shows in the more recent games.
