I was introduced to this song through stevie wonder's cover of it. That was right before my mother transitioned in 2014. The day of her funeral, I remember getting dressed for the funeral and listening to stevie cementing that day into history forever. Your cover is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for it

I first listened to this in the sixties when it became an anthem for change and hope. I listened to it on 'repeat' in the seventies when we marched for so many good aspirations , and saw hope blossom into change , then grow and consolidate . Sadly we now see things apparently in reverse with nationalism and racism, sexism and prejudice, seeming to flourish and seek to take hold once more, here in the UK as well as the USA. Hopefully the spirit of this song will rise again and signal a return to reason. Well, this old fart at least hopes it does. Thankyou Kina , keep singing songs of hope ... They help to heal troubled hearts ...
