Thankyou very much for sharing this video. This brings back memories from my childhood. It was good to see a video of it after reading all about it in RC mags back in '93.
Thanks so much for posting this !, i was there when it happened and had a great time. Seeing this brings back good memories. Took the ferry from Holland where i live to London and on to Basildon, I still have my souped up RC10 with RPM conversion kit and started running it recently after dusting it off, now my daughters love this stuff too.
When I stopped racing I had an RC10, a CAT 2000 and a Tamiya F1. I loved the F1 racing. Additive on the tyres made for really high speed and precision racing. I was good enough to be sponsered but lost interest when I left school, alcohol and women had taken over!
So many people would complain now. They are all too pampered with smooth high bite tracks and Astro turf tracks. Doubt they’d even know what settings to change to accommodate to a bumpy loose track.
Americans really dominated in offroad in the 80s and early 90s (and then of course you had Masami who would go on to legendary status and a number of world titles that may never be equalled)

I have this on VHS still, just no video player to play it...
Good memories as a kid going to watch Masami in the UK
