Those button mashers look awesome! I love the retro ps logo and I will get these for my PS5 along with the black plates once they are in stock next month! Can’t wait for that.
Both covers look good but the Cosmic Red looks more pink in ever image i'd seen of it, so seeing it really red here was quite a surprise.

As he scratches the black part of the PlayStation. It still has the war scars to prove it. Do not just pull up and yank it the opposite direction. Pull up so the taps underneath corners are raise and use ur other hand thumb to firmly pull down. You will feel the plates dislodge from it’s place and control how far out without scratching the PlayStation.
Thank you for pointing this out. I was very careful with mine and watched many videos before removing.

The Black covers look the best and that's how the PS5 should have been released.
Sony probably wants to try it differently this time since PS2, PS3 and PS4 were all black. Plus they're going for future scifi tone look.
I agree the base PS5 look like there trying hard to copy the Xbox 360 with the white color, I wish the base ps5 was black from the start tbh I love this guys ps5 though I really love the colorful logos it reminds me of the ps2 mad hard I love it

I have had the dbrand dark plates since the day I got my console, buy oh man the official black plates look good with the retro logo. If I decide to buy official plates I will most likely go with the red though since the dbrand plates are already amazing. I just live the retro logo

I know that I have a ps5 and yes I know I'm blessed to have gotten mine at launch and not having to pay resell to scalpers , but guys I can't lie the Xbox series x looks so freaking cool it's like a little black cube with a glowing green light at the top lol . I seen one in person for the first time since launch and I have to admit it's pretty cool 👍🏾

Everybody claiming that fan opening helps with airflow. Nope. Not at all. They designed the airflow around air pressure. Those fan grates throw off the air pressure and it reduces the cooling.

Why do all my PlayStation packages come in big ass shipping boxes? Your box that had your plates seemed the right size, my box for my black and red plates could fit like 4 full ps5 boxes in it

@@BrandonLittle85 if you have no use for them then sure if you want, I sold mine for about $100 at the time I believe, maybe there’s a lot more people selling theirs now though so they may not go for that much but won’t hurt to try, especially if yours are in pristine condition lol.

The plates are more of a navy blue color look at them in the light and you can definitely tell the difference compared to the dbrand darkplates

Speak for yourself. I care about design for consoles as it adds an asthetic to your room/living room. Performance is obviously a priority but that should be on the developers part to ensure the most update to date system is created for said consoles. Im positive asthetics is created after cuz they know style over substance can only do so much. If a bad design will leave comsumers to either avoid a product or hate it. I mean look at the Xbox One. Shit looks ugly as fuck but I know its one powerful beast (well for its time anyway)
