He was asked question on Muslim League in Kerala which is known as Indian Union Muslim League and it is a recognised political party in Kerala and the recognition has been conferred upon them by the Election Commission of India. No political party in India can ever be recognised if it doesn't owe its allegiance to the Constitution of India. If it isn't a secular party, why isn't the BJP demanding withdrawal of its recognition? IUML is a party that came into being much after the partition of India. Please go through its history. It is a communitarian party and not a communal party. There's no harm being communitarian as long as you don't hurt others' religious beliefs.

Great discussion. See the possibility of an alternative to the current government. I have noticed that many people, including Mr. Rahul Gandhi in some occasions, uses the word called "Lower Caste people" which I think is wrong word of choice to use. There is no caste is lower caste and of course the word caste itself should be uprooted from the modern Indian society. People in south India mostly don't use this word since it is a discriminatory word; but instead people use the word called "oppressed or downtrodden " community. The word choice "oppressed or downtrodden " gives the idea for the people that casteism should be eradicated and the bring the justice and equality for everyone as Dr. Ambedkar dreamed of.
The main problem is caste system which should be eradicated totally everyone has a right to dignity prosperity though we can help the needy with financial help it is wrong to give them reservation as it discriminate them they are equally intelligent capable just like any other healthy competition helps us to grow grow

I also like how he is optimistic about the future of the country and believes the storm of hate would pass. I was cynical till the start of BJY and couldn't really see much hope. But over the past few months, there is a small hope rising in my heart that perhaps the future is not as bleak as I think it will be. I like his optimism and faith in the basic nature of India though he has seen so much violence and been at the receiving end of a targeted politics of hate. I will try to practise some of what he preaches and practises - stop carrying anger in my heart at the state of things and believe they will change though they might take their time. But I agree a lot of the good will towards INC and RG in particular is because BJY went above electoral politics. It made me feel that Congress and RG did care about the idea of India which was worth fighting for. That was what was needed at that time - for people to feel again that they had stakes in this country of their birth.
Over the past decade Pappu has been coming of age. Let’s all hope and pray that he comes of age soon, like in the next 40 or 50yrs. It’s wonderful watching that Professor woman watch and listen to him in such awe and attention. I’m sure she is going to learn a lot from him. I liked his yatra, I’m sure it will be written about in history books right on par with Mahatma Gandhi’s various walks here and there or wherever it was he went. I loved the profound depth of thought he expressed here. Wonder what he sounds like when drunk.
Why do you think future is bleak? Democracy is alive and operating in India unlike 1975 ... just because a congress party got elected does not mean all of a sudden democracy is dead!
