      I’m not sure but I think I heard somewhere that there was a clause in the contract that if mourinho won a trophy he’d walk away with millions if sacked after winning a cup. So they probably did that cuz they value the millions more than the trophy.

      Mourinho managed around the world and Levi's club was the worse club he ever managed... Conte managed in multiple clubs including lower Italian leagues and said he has never seen anything as bad as Spurs.. now Postecoglou, who has never managed in a top 5 leagues and is starting to understand in the past 24 hrs that Spurs will be the lousiest club he had to coach. When will Spurs fan wake up? When will Levi wake up? One may be wrong, two may be coincidence but three? 😂😂😂

      @@David-cm4ok The only time they started singing was when they were 2-0 down. They even joined in with the Man City fans chanting ‘Are you watching Arsenal’ at one point. During the first half when it was 0-0 and Spurs were in the game they were silent.

    Spurs fans spent the whole game quiet and not getting behind the team. When they did find their voices it was to sing about Arsenal. All of this in a game where they are fighting for a spot in the champions league. Which now they have failed in, yet the fans still celebrated. What kind of club is this? Feel bad for the manager and hope he moves on

    I really sympathise with Ange here. I cannot believe that we wanted to lose, even with an outside chance of CL qualification, just out of petty resentment for Arsenal doing well. Embarrassing, small club mentality, and just grim philosophy. What a sad life it is to take pleasure in other people's misery more than joy in your own success. Wouldn't blame Ange if he just walked away. We're not all like that.

Got thumped by several teams and doesn’t think practising set pieces is important, lost 5 of last 6 games at the business end of the season.     Ange reminds me so much of Rugby Union coaches. Thoughtful, tactical, sees the large-scale picture. But, also abrasive when needed. I worry about him at Spurs. I don't think they'll 'back' his approach / ideas. Now if there was a perfect fit for Gareth Southgate, Spurs would be it. Both very professional, come across well in the media, don't ruffle too many feathers. YNWA Ange, would love you at Liverpool.

      Huge job? Dethroning rangers of their first title in years was a huge job? Behave mate, winning the SPL with Celtic has to be the most nailed on trophy as a manager! Ok so once in a while rangers get within a few points and whoever is in 3rd is usually around 20 points behind 2nd! Do you know what I don't get with celtic, you sell jota for £25 mil, Tierney for nearly the same and get you only spend £3-4 mil on bog standard players, why don't they spend good money on quality players and actually give a good account of themselves in the champions league? Baffles me.

      I agree somewhat. If anything, he should have kept these comments in the locker room, but he was already complaining about the atmosphere days before the match. Did you see him yell at the supporter when City scored the first goal? He was livid.

      Agreed. I feel like if Tottenham had come in with their last 3 games unbeaten, his frustration would be justified. But Tottenham barely beat Burnley last game, and he expected to beat Man City, the league leaders? Tottenham looked pretty good the first 15 min, then the intensity just fell after first half.

    In Post, we trust. Warrior mentality. Very much needed at this level. Back him. What another club does in a season doesn't bother me. Arsenal have played lovely football, if they won the league, so be it. Spurs play lovely football, the youth they have bought ready for next season is fantastic. Back ange with Santiago giminez and 1 electric winger, 1 centre mid, 1 cb, 1 wingback and were well equipped. Need to kick on though as Newcastle and Chelsea will defo be pushing too. Villa not so sure.

    Ange has the mentality of someone who wants to win and this is something spurs will never have. Its part of the DNA of the club to fail and not strive to be the best.     I get the Spurs/Arsenal rivalry.
    I get that it is way bigger for them than it is for Arsenal supporters. The inverse of their current ability to challenge for the premiership.
    I get that Spurs’ season was over.
    Except I don’t, because it wasn’t.
