- Wow. Wow, wow, wow. The finale, everyone. I personally really enjoyed this series, I think everyone did an absolutely tremendous job, and I'm just so happy with how pretty much everything turned out. I wish the episodes were longer, and that we'd spent a little more time at camp, and I'm sure there are some other things I wish were different, but I loved this show over all. Of course there will be some things they'll have to cut for time, and I'm sure, due to how the movies panned out, budget may have been a little thinner than show would've preferred (or I'm wrong, and they had the budget they wanted, but regardless), but bigger budget or not, they did an amazing job. I loved/hated how the betrayal of Luke actually stung in this iteration, like in the book. Maybe even more so. The fight with Ares was short, but in all honesty, for Percy to "win" by getting first blood, and not die, it had to be short. Cause Ares was obviously wiping the floor with him, and he wasn't even trying. And Zeus. Oooooh boy, do I not like Zeus. Though I love Lance Reddick. He did such a phenomenal job, and he emanated power and a suffocating presence. He is scary. But gods I hate Zeus. And with Grover getting his Searcher's License, we're staring his journey on his search for Pan, and the places that can take our team. Very excited to see what next season brings to the table. I can hardly wait!

I have a theory that once returning to Camp, Annabeth realised neither her nor Grover betrayed Percy and Clarisse wasn't his friend and so that just left Luke so when she hugged Percy she and him had a conversation before meeting up with Luke in the cabin (she says "I'll tell you soon"). And it was Percy's friendship and also Annabeth's connection to Luke that they was most dear and lost in the end (the finale 😂). Great reaction. I loved the series. Awaiting the season 2 announcement
This was such a great finale. I loved every single thing about it and it's made me so damn excited for season 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 haha - I know we dont have the renewal yet but it's gonna happen very soon I can just tell. I have to say, I hate Zeus but Lance was absolutely commanding and powerful and had such a presence - it's gonna be so sad that we're not gonna see him anymore.
I 100% agree. Zeus was even worse here than he was in the book, but I absolutely loved what Lance Reddick brought to the role. He felt so imposing, and his presence almost suffocating in such a threatening way. The way he delivered his lines, and him getting angry was just chilling. It's good for the casting that they're gods and can make themselves look however they want, but it's gonna be so sad not to have him anymore. Those are gonna be tough shoes to fill.
Im excited to see what season 2 has in store.
Loved the finale I'm hoping for faster release time because Rick is possibly trying to do as much filming as possible so the kids still look like kids.
Yeah, I understand that, but they're gonna have to take breaks in between filming, especially the kids. They're basically filming for a whole year. And they have to get the green light for each season before they can start planning for filming.
@@nerdsnnuance2405 yeah I'm just saying I expect it isn't gonna take more than a year and a half before we get season 2. Maybe 2, I can't see it going to 3 years later.
