Love that good word. Hebrews 11 is a particularly good one!
Props to you for focusing on the positive when the weather is less than lovely.

Love your videos. I tried growing worms before i saw captain matt. They died because i lost interest. I used mi gardners three tub worm farm. They kept crawling out. I didnt understand that you had to keep a light on. Plus i let them get too cold. Red wigglers die if you let them get too cold. I am hoping to put together a johnson su this coming season. I have about 100 bags worth of chicken compost for garden, but i may try putting it down compost tea on pasture. Also want to try johnson su with the chicken compost to see if a wood and leaf based chicken compost can be made to be fungal instead of bacteria dominant.

Ok, this is interesting! We’ve gone thru Captain Matt’s course, but apparently I missed the lighting thing. I knew the Red Wigglers has to be above freezing, but I need to circle back on the light. Thanks for the tip! Keep me posted on your Johnson-Su results, Greg, super interesting!

Glad to hear things are still going well for you guys! The cold has been ridiculous lately! It was -40°C with windchill to -50°C last week so I definitely feel for you! It finally warmed up to about -20°C (roughly 0°F) and it feels like t shirt weather in comparison haha my sheep have been frolicking and freedom leaping in joy at the warmer temperatures 😂
    Stay warm, my friend!

…if I’m seeing this right, that’s almost minus 60°F! I can’t imagine those temps, my teeth would shatter

@birchfieldfarming yeah it gets pretty cold here haha thankfully those kinds of temperatures only last about a week or two every winter
