Thank you for this. It's the most informative piece of content on the train service. I've been looking for info such as departure time and how booking is done and all. The train looks nice and I hope to try it soon.
It should be plausible to the advancement of Nigerian economy to upgrade the system to an Online transport discount ticketing via biometric card payments for daily, weekends, weekly, monthly, yearly platform interactive screen operations, in other to extend the service's transport efficiency to minimum 10 fast trains, with 100 passenger capacity from Lagos to Ibadan interchange on local stops and 5 express 🚂 🚆 trains operations.
Children are supposed to travel free on welfare transport subsidy for under age minors up 15 years old with adult excursion or groups. The infrastructure of the railway system needs modernisation equipped to international standards.
This is a locomotive train, you can't link these type of trains to airport for various reasons, the one that will be linked to the Lagos airport is the 3rd line of the Lagos light rail which i think is the red line
It's good to see railway being revived in Nigeria. Its a shame they're using such an outdated, old fashioned ticketing system. Hope they upgrade this in time... Nice video.
Even bus station in Lagos use standard ticketing system. How much more a train station that they spent billions on, I bet you saw the construction on ground, come on guys. Oshodi the biggest slum has the best bus station and ticketing is standard, and that goes for all bus stations across Lagos. If you're so worried, check out the Kaduna-Abuja rail that was built like 5yrs to see the ticketing process. Watch it on Wode Maya RUclips channel, it is more detailed.
There will always be someone pouring sand in the cornflakes. Edit: My response is to @Ultimate Health. We need to appreciate things and not badmouth positive development in the country. I've always said the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians which includes the politicians and the common man.
I have watched various videos on this train ride from Lagos to Ibadan and it appears that people are really utilizing the service? That means that by the time everything is on ground, train service will be another reliable means of transportation in Nigeria...
@@nowbiodun actually heard it on your video but wanted to reconfirm because I assumed they would not operate on weekends as per government run service etc?
Great progress for Nigeria. Moving forward, the City of Lagos need a metro 🚇 link City train service. It has been long overdue. It will surely help ease the unforgiving infamous traffic. Hopefully the next daring Governor of Lagos state can make it a mandate for Lagosians.
Thank you for showing this video and other informations. However my question is once the train start off from Yaba is that its take off station? Does it stops at other stations along its journey to pick passengers. Like those in Mushin/Oshodi or Agege can they take the train from their areas or everybody must join at Yaba. And Visa viser? Hope pple are not allow to beg sell or come in with goats cows or dogs. And if a passage has an heavy luggage do they charge for that too like travelling boxes? Passengers from other station are they charge same price from those who join half way like . It will be nice if you can do another video telling us all these answers. Thk you once again.
You can imagine how exploiting the prices are. This is supposed to be a government project to make life easier for the citizens. If one could not pick up a train every 1hr between the 2 biggest cities in Nigeria, you can see that the business has not started at all. A refurbished wagon is not what Nigerians deserved. God help our people.
You did not even say what class you entered or the means of identification process e.g national id/cert etc. Nothing of quality substance in this video just over filtered clips, yeye phoneying and vibes smh
Nawa for u ohhh, didn't u watch d video and here him say he was in d economy seat, plus u should know better means of identication to use..such a dummy 🙄.nice of u to try shade d way he talks,if he easy u sef use phonetics record ur own review when u use the transport...shioor

Nigeria will soon understand the economic advantage of this rail system.
Say it again brother 🥂
Bien por Nigeria por tener esta infraestructura.
Buen video

I wish they would quickly link this to mm airport this would really make life easy for me visiting from the UK ,just from airport to ibadan direct

That will be achieved in few months

Congratulations. It’s wonderful to see fast progress in Africa, and western media calls this a ‘Chinese debt trap’. Thank you for sharing.
That's whites' words, debt trap, to demonize China; but it's still better than being plundered and having no train system in return.
Great scenes, well done, thanks!! 😉✔
That's good, Kudos to Nigerian 🇳🇬🇳🇬
Thank you for sharing about my husband native home. I loved my time there and excited to come back with husband for our vacation.
Been looking for content on this as I plan to use the train very soon. Thank you for this detailed video
But i hope the corporation works on more train stops. Because Moniya might be more of a travel for some parts in Ibadan.

This video is so clean. You have gotten a new subscriber :)
Amazing Nigeria 🇳🇬 thanks for sharing
No hoodlums riding on the roof of the train as in train surfing. Let's hope it is maintained and kept in good condition for future use.
