Wow! Good job my brother! I went with you on that trip and I enjoyed every minute of it. Your narration was pleasant and comforting. I like the way you referred to the train as "hugging the track", and" imminent" when approaching a bend on the track. All and all, you did a phenomenal job and I'm so happy to see you grow into your job. Keep it coming, my friend. We love 💝 you, and we love Nigeria. Peace ✌️.

The trains can actually do a max speed of 150km/hr by design but emphasis has always been on safety first than speed. Aside the fact that people & animals (herdsmen) cross rail tracks with some children even known to play along the tracks, it'd be risky to hit full throttle on the trains. Anyone who has traveled on the Abuja-Kaduna train would've noticed the concrete walls built on both sides of the track to prevent human & animal incursion; that part of the project was eventually abandoned very likely due to paucity of funds. The initial idea was to build concrete fence along the rail tracks from both ends.

Used it from Agege to Ibadan few weeks ago whilst i was in 9ija, CONS & PROS...It was clean with a/c & less crowd on the vip section. But slow n you'll need too much money and time to travel back to Ibadan from the last stop. Had to traveled back to lagos via 89% completed lagos- ibadan highway, which was cost and time effective, won't do it again untill they can provide a line that will link ,redeem, ijebu and ibadan toll gate axis

Impressive work, I'd add that the low speed has to do with captain behavior and management policies and their implementation.

Wow your train spotting video is really informative and well put together. Actually I have heard a lot of negative news about this intercity journey, but you give real time actual update here, so I will definitely go on this the next time I visit Nigeria as I have some family members In Ibadan. Thank you 👍🏾

Oh, by the way! Thanks for emphasizing maintenance which should become a priority in all new projects in Nigeria from now on. The culture of maintenance should be driven home during every orientation before employees are deployed to their various posts. Very good ☺️ observation my man.
