    Nigeria is a vast developing nation with over 100 urbanised territories. No other African country can boast of that. They only have about six to ten major urbanised towns or cities which they showcase to the world. But Nigeria has more towns and cities developing simultaneously. It is only that some of our kleptocratic state governors lack visions, only caring about what they can loot from the treasury. Nigeria will shock the world in less tha 20 years from now.

      I don't happen to think so. But if what you wrote makes you happy, then run with it.
      Other African countries may not have many "cities" but boy are their cities nice and they are happy with what they have. Have you ever heard the Massai or Kikuyu giving Luos and others quit notice to leave Nairobi or else...No matter how you dress it up, Nigeria is a failed state and evidence suggests that small and medium sized African countries are better led with brighter future than crumbling, fractious and unworkable Nigeria. Fact.

  • @ugowilliams8437
    @ugowilliams8437 8 дней назад +15

    This is one of the best means of transportation we were introduced to by the colonial masters many years ago, but we needlessly abandoned it because of the discovery of crude oil. If Nigeria had kept faith with the utilisation and development of our intracity and interstate railway transport systems and infrastructure, we would have gone far more than many African countries. But, we chose to concentrate 90% of the movement of goods and passengers on roads thereby overstretching that infrastructure. The overdependence on, or abandonment of, any one of the four key means of domestic transportation (air, water, road and rail) without a strategic plan to simultaneously develop all of them in order to offer variety of choices to travellers is the bane of many Third World countries. Nigeria must work intentionally and sustainably not to fall into this dangerous trap for our collective good, growth and prosperity. I also advise the government to generously integrate all parts of the country in this laudable rail transport project to create a seamless, cheaper, more affordable and comfortable mass transit service that decongests our highways especially during festive seasons (e.g. Christmas and Sallah).
    Thanks for your quality and insightful vlogs, as always. You are doing a good job. 💯👌🏽.
