100% its not a cramp. cramps is more painful in the moment. Giannis looked confused while he was sitting down. kind of like KD and Kobe reaction with their injury
exactly look just like the kd injury in the rockets series we all know what happen after that
@@carltonrudolphthat big leap before too usually is indicative
the mileage is catching up to his body unfortunately
We’ve seen this before… hopefully he’s alright, but I don’t expect to see him again until next season the earliest
And Aaron Rodger’s. Hope not , might be a Achilles
Do your best to rest Giannis, take care ❤❤❤
“I’m not gunna speculate”
-Speculates for 5 minutes on if it’s his soleus or achilles
😭☠️
Choke Rivers will now have a reason to give once they lost in the first round playoffs. Sad but Rivers is cursed.
Shut up bro. No one cares about your agenda
Even with a healthy Giannis, Glenn rivers was headed to Cancun early
@@alexquinonez8443agreed
❤❤😮😮 that Lopez walking after him was unconscious cool yo
100% what I came here to say. Brothers.
an achiles injury would fit right into the lore of him being the Greek freak and all...unstopable, just this one weakness :))))
Might be the Greek freak but he is not Greek. He is a Greek citizen not Greek.
@@simban00he identifies culturally as Greek Nigerian so let Giannis own preference be the word
First Round Exit incoming... The Rivers Experiment continues.
Experiment will bleed into next season now
Would lost 1st round anyway
@@80timager23if I was the bucks he not making it to next season 😂
@@Ray_Reverse9I agree. Love Dame & Giannis, but Doc has doomed them.
First round exit it is 😂
This comes from when they had to play such intense ball winning 153 -140 ....those coaches over ran those guys....playing playoff level early in the season.....i knew it...🙏🏽☝🏽❤️
I think you meant to say the Pacers caused it making them run 5 games
@davidfaxon3336 no. I mean most games.
I had a non-contact soleus strain playing soccer. Felt like a pop. Initially thought it was an Achilles. Was back quickly.
Giannis had Achilles tendinitis just a month ago
Lol who are you?!?
Glad it was a quick recovery for you 😊
@@bitcoinethereum9702the whole area needs rest and treatment. Giannis will be fine, but he may need to lay off offense and focus on defense in the playoffs. Let the guys carry the offense. They’re capable
damn the NBA is not the same without Giannis hopefully hes ok
Not surprised Giannis went down. They have "lucky" Doc at the helm.
Pardon me Candice but the Tibilias is the front calf, not the soleus
Constantly playing injured doesn’t help at all either but proud of him that he plays through most of the time
But then they get criticism for resting
@@user-pi1rj8of6r exactly it’s a double edged sword
Get well and return soon champ
Lmao.. as a 3/4th of a doctor (3rd year med student) back of the posterior calf makes no sense lol but it sure sounds good. Soleus muscle is anterior to the gastroc( aka calf). It has really good blood supply so I suspect he’ll be fine. Nothing likely needs to be done if it’s truly a soleus strain.. my 2 cents
Isn't it silly hearing them throwing out words like it's scrabble? I'm not a doctor but have been around a lot of them during internship (and have a ton of injuries to my lower extremities after basketball and football). He might want to shut it down given his playstyle... They're not good enough to win it this year anyway, shouldn't risk his career or his leg for it....
u need more years as a student .
It’s actually in the back part of your lower leg right below the knee. So ur calf
@@MrFranchize99 he said calf loool
@@lilshawnweezy1 i meant to respond to a whole different comment lmao
Ms Parker showed tremendous restraint. Shaq didn't correct her, he said the exact same thing she did and she knew it. She didn't want to show him up...
Looks like a calf strain. I had this type of injury and this usually 2 weeks to fully recover from. You feel a pop, just by walking/running (non-contact). Prayers up!🙏
Damn I had a similar injury after a couple contact dunks in la fitness. Was just walking then all of a sudden I couldn’t walk anymore. Was an Achilles tear took me a few months to recover
Giannis don't come back man stay out and recover properly stay home and throw this season out the window. Better to rest now so you can play later and have a healthy career.
CP,,, miss you in LA,,,,
It’s a pulled a calf muscle. Happened to me about a month ago. Same way. Took about 3 weeks to feel better this week was first week I was able to run but still light soreness.
Reminds me of KD in 2019 all over again
Except the Bucks are nowhere near a championship, so it doesn’t really matter.
@@slayeuh very true but they damn sure ain’t winning anything without Giannis.
@@slayeuh A 7 game series is not the same as a regular season game
Not as meangunfil tho. Milwaukee hasn’t shown to be a threat at all to the title
It’s Boston, MAYBE Philly and the western conf teams
@@Rowsy91 I’m referring to the injury concern and possible severity, not the whole scenario championship wise. They have lesser of a chance to compete without him than with him. But I agree, they’ve been inconsistent all season and I don’t see them as title contenders
just rest the season to the playoffs man
Playoffs too my guy kd took a whole round of playoffs off came back looked he was going for 50 but then went down first 5 minutes
Rough injury damn, hope he recovers.
When’s the old crew coming back
On Tuesdays, that’s the regular crew, hopefully EJ, Chuck and Jet will be back on Thursday
March Madness is over and NBA Playoffs are coming so that means we get a number of shows with the OGs per week. .
Papa Doc is happy. Has his scapegoat now to milk another season.
People talk about Zion being injury bound but giannis takes so many long strides into traffic night after night. It's a miracle it didn't severely happen on a drive.
I remember watching Shaq injury live on tv
Achilles injury, his calf muscle is attached to his Achilles
I had the same injury..it felt like a cramp but it took me 2 months to recover..very painful
Know it all Candice
He's not hurt. Just getting some extra rest for the first round after a clinch. It's 2024 nba basketball. Lebrons signature move.
Are there any current NBA’rs commenting from the desk on WNBA broadcasts?
Are you insecure?
@@elizaschaeffer34 Are you a regular viewer of WNBA programming? You damn well had better be and know the answer to what was a legitimate question, rather than be triggered by it, Eliza. I'm going to assume that was your pathetic and predictable attempt to make yourself feel better or superior or something? I don't know. You tell me. Since you're clueless on the definition of "insecure" when you see it, I'll help you out:
"Insecure" is setting a record in Women's College Basketball and constantly comparing it favorably to a similar achievement in Men's College Basketball, but, claiming that the women's record holder is the best of both the men AND women's college game without ever having competed in the men's college game. Desperate attempts at validation like that are a clear sign of what's "insecure". Not someone who asked a question because they genuinely didn't know the answer.
I remember this happening to Luka a few years back. Close to the playoffs, he hurt his calf. He missed a few games in the first round.
Giannis is ten years older than Luka was then and Giannis has been having Achilles issues already. He needs to sit the rest of the season, including playoffs, or he will rupture his Achilles.
Dr. Shaq, I thought the gastrocnemius was superficial to the soleus? 🤣
That’s looks bad as doc reverse interviews 💀
I’ve strained my soleus and my initial thought was achilles.
Soleus will take a few weeks to recover 😬
Looks like the Milwaukee Bucks are going to be really serious this coming post season. Giannis will be back and will continue Dominating the League. I'm looking forward to seeing the Bucks again on the Eastern Finals and NBA Finals again. #34 Antetokoumnpo 👆
This reminds me of KD in his last season with the GsW.
KD had a strained right calf during the 2018-2019 playoffs.
KD came back during the NBA Finals and went down immediately with an injury to his calf.
Turned out to be a torn achilles.
Sat out the following season.
If the Bucks want to avoid what happened to KD it would be most wise to sit out Giannis for the rest of the season and playoffs.
Othewise they may lose his to a serious injury.
This dude was so dramatic talking about the injury...and the music lol
Probably a calf strain I had the same thing happen to me it hurts really bad Probably out 2 weeks hopefully he is better soon
"i'm not going to speculate" , followed by speculations.
I think if he has lingering Achilles or Calf issues they should shut him down and not risk any further injury, get him healthy and focus on next year…I hope it’s not a serious injury but the way he went down doesn’t bode well for him 🙏🏽
Yeah I agree shut him down for next season giannis doesn't need jeopardize his career he's 30 still young and have plenty more seasons for another championship..if he pop that Achilles giannis will be a former shell of himself when he gets back healthy cause he heavily depends on his athleticism to get buckets
They got two more years with him TOPS after this years playoffs
Blew out his calf shin out for the posterior season
Look kind of like Dre Greenlaw... 🤯
Dame leading the Bucks to a Championship this year
Pba championship! I hear he is a great bowler
Pretty sure it was a calf strain or cramps..ive had these before and you just sit down and deal with the pain. He' ll be fine and ready for the playoffs i believe. Just gotta hope he doesnt reaggravte it in the playoffs
Hope it's a good sign. Same incident last championship run. Buck will do it again this year. 🙏🙏🙏🏆🏆🏆
dame time
3:09 lol they called out Shaq for trying to misrepresent his EdD (Doctor of Education) for a Medical Doctorate. Come on Shaq we all took anatomy and physio in High school you should know the opposite of Posterior is Anterior. Should have asked him where his Phalanges or Occipital Protuberance is and watch him go silent.
Candace is so not able to chill or flow with convo she’s so on edge and condescending as if she thinks everyone thinks she’s dumb
glad i aint the only one who been noticing
Well, she's a female who wants to plant her status among a bunch of alpha males. If she stays docile, what will the viewers think?
Insecure
@@bigturboweenie alpha males?😂
I think she's steaming from when they ripped on her jacket. The jacket was pretty brutal and they didn't hold back.
Soleus is anterior to the gastrocnemius, it’s not the anterior shin- that’s the tibialis.
1:04 to 1:12 i love you Shaq
Achilles tendon… it looks like twins to the Kobe injury. Hopefully not
Another example of the bucks equipment manager failing the team … faulty shoes and leg sleeve, maybe even socks as well… docs been taking notes guys, hopefully they can find a replacement soon
Can you get a desk that covers their shoes and legs... It's distracting
Calf injurys are tricky. They linger for a while tbh
Seriously bring back chuck! Dump this chic this ain’t the failed wnba.
Even without Giannis, Dame in Milwaukee is still surrounded overall with better caliber players than he ever had and he went to the semis. Let’s Dame put the dollar where the mouth is.
we’re not gonna speculate as they do 5 mins of speculating...
Stop lying...y'all not hoping for the best. 🙄
National NBA media hates Milwaukee.
Shaq face when they talkin bout front calf🤣🤣
But there are muscles in the front and back of the calf-the muscles are layered….
@@elizaschaeffer34 I am aware lol. I don’t think Shaq knows that tho🤣. He lookin like they are the dumb ones😂
Looks like he pulled a muscle
He coming to the warriors
Non contact injury is scary
That's an Achilles tear all he has going for him is his athleticism. If he doesn't have it, his career is over with.
Brook trying to convince Giannis to stop acting tough and get his weight off it.
Incoming Doc Rivers excuse # infinity ...
Doc Rivers will get another year as the Bucks HC! Built in excuse
non-contacts are always the worst ones 😅
Athletes are Too Delicate in 2024.
The fact his teammates walking with him makes it more concerning
Wayment. We all seen an Achilles injury, right?
Sure the heck looked like it to me.
Damn man . Celtics just got handed the east smh.
Don’t forget abt Miami
And that's their Kryptonite, u have short-term memory
Heat are gonna get swept rd 1 by Celtics ....fools!!
The Celtics have already had issues against the Pacers. Keep sleeping on them
Sixers are suddenly in the mix too now.
This is why my Lakers have been load managing all year
So have the Celtics with all those blowouts and games ahead of everyone else...the Lakers on the other hand .500 ball for the Lakers correct.
9th seed Lakers😂
Load management just to barely make the play in….
Load managed to the 10th seed. Probably should be at least a 5th 6th seed
If you only knew how that comment makes you look 😂
Hopefully it’s nothing about his achilles, I remember KD having this before his achilles injury.
They beat Celtics easily without Giannis yesterday, and they will do it again until he returns back healthy
😮 we do not need this please no Achilles injury
Hopefully since he is walking on it that should mean its not a calf tear at least.
Looks like its Dame Time
I never understood why have your stars play when you already have clinched a playoff makes absolutely no sense to me
The 5 Pacers ran him into the ground. He's just not built to run with the Pacers.
Mark my words, this is the beginning of the end ☝🏾
Says the random jabroni on RUclips
They be fine
Not a Bucks fan but dammit man! I hope Gannis didn't tare his Achilles
Y are the celtics staters playing indont get it we already secured home court sht is wild
They will be fine. All season they been balling while he been out. Pluse the ball has more energy. 🏀 OUT
Bucks back at it with the first round exit this year thanks to Choke Rivers.
Does this mean Embid will flourish? Anything think bucks will get anywhere with a limp Ante?
Gotta be honest… the Bucks didn’t look like they were gonna go far in the playoffs offs anyway. It’s better he rest and heal completely than playing through it and making it worse.
Well we definitely don't wanna see another KD injury
Doc will make excuses instead of taking accountability
Smoking On Giannis 😂😂🚬🚬
Bro literally injured u buggin muddy
Maybe the only positive out of it is the fact that he was able to still walk.. You’re not walking on a Achilles tear
You can depends on the person and the severity
@@WLJ1287 I witnessed my uncle tear his when I was 12-13 & between his & some I’ve seen in sports from other athletes I’ve never seen anybody walk after tearing it.. I think it’s a strain simply because he was still able to put enough pressure on it to walk under his own power
@@carlgilmore-murry5789 Dre greenlaw just tore his in the SB and pretty sure he was walking off. Most likely this isn’t an Achilles tear though, he still may be out a few weeks though
@@WLJ1287 He had guys helping him to a cart but he was doing an extremely hard limp to the point that he was grimacing in pain each time he put any pressure on it.. he wasn’t getting far w/o help
@@carlgilmore-murry5789 no walking means no weight is on one of the legs which isn’t true here. Yes it’s painful but can be done.
Please interview an orthopedic surgeon.
It's ova sit him down for the season
Can we all now put to bed any notion that milwaukee will win the East?!?!?
Yall forget he came back two games to dominate the suns in the finals he will be fine lol
Let's just hope it's not on the level of KD stepping on Khris Middleton's foot and he was out for months. Anyone remember that
He was having achilles tendinitis. Hopefully it’s not a tear
That's that KD injury
