I think if everybody by logic can't top it (logic ain't trash, far from, very lyrical when he wants to be and great flow) then it will definitely be album of the year, rap wise. DAMN. Was good, but not great, nowhere near TPAB or GKMC. I have listened to all of joey's albums and have loved every single one, and this one was no exception.

Temptation has such a happy tune but such sad lyrics which makes me so guilty when dancing to it😩
This is definitely Joey's best album, he evolved so much with this record, a lot of his albums and songs before this were mainly hardcore hiphop raps which isn't bad but after awhile it kinda gets old and in the game you gotta be versitile, this album musically is a masterpiece, love all of the up beat instrumentals, flows, lyrics and subject matter

Anthony I'm a huge fan watch every single video. I suggest you listen and review "when life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold" by Atmosphere. It's a little old (2008) but you never mention this group and you can easily make a case that they are one of the best hip/hop rap groups in music history. Definitely consider it please

When I first listened to Damn I gave it a strong 7. I am currently on my 7th listen including lyric and internet research. I am at a solid 9 right now. I did the same thing with TPAB until I realized that it was a 10. The needle drop has his work cut out for him on this album. It is more complex than I thought it would be, yet he managed to give it a mainstream appeal. If American Badass is an 8, I can not wait to see Damn score. Honestly, I may enjoy this album more than GKMC. If he drops another album.....
