Based on other channel which also uploading new TV2 Danmark intro said: On Sunday, October 1st, 2023, TV 2 Nyhederne aired for the last time before merging its production with TV 2 News, which happened on Monday, October 2nd, 2023. All the evening bulletins on TV 2 will be renamed "17 News", "18 News, "19 News", and "21:30 News" respectively the following Monday. In addition to the rebrand, TV 2 News will during the evenings be broadcast from Odense instead of the main studio in Copenhagen. Overall I like the previous intro before they merges which very dramatic.
Thanks for this! The new branding *looks* great - I actually don't mind the yellow-and-black as a breaking news intro, it's certainly different for English-speaking eyes. It *sounds* perhaps slightly disappointing, as it appears they took their cues from the TV2 News channel rather than the mainline bulletins - and I've always felt the Danish TV2's news channel's titles have always sounded a little "off" from how they did them. Do wonder if they'll end up considering making a slightly heavier version of the theme for, say, the 21.30 edition (like the Norwegian TV2 eventually had to for their mainline channel news) - it'd at least fit in with the night-time graphics they've given it.
