➡️ About My Boats: The Hallberg - Rassy 312 was built for fifteen years between 1979 and 1993. Totally 690 boats were built during this time period. The HR 312 was a very popular model. Until 1986 the Hallberg - Rassy 312 Mark I was built, with the portlights in the blue stripe in the hull and with or without quarter berth. Models without quarter berth had an extra cockpit locker on starboard.

Hello Gabriel, I really like the videos you make. Some of them I've watched even twice. I'm refurbishing an HR312 too at the moment. It's my first big project, so enough to learn. I'm now replacing the deck and I'm planning to make a cad drawing of the deck, but since you already went through this I was wondering if you are open to sell or share your cad files of the boat, that would be awesome! Cheers and keep up the good work!.

For the deck I didn’t make any cad design I did only for caprail and after that I modified for making it. I still have for protection of my new teak deck the templates used for make the deck if you want I can give to you for free if you come in Italy to collect them!
@@sea4see Wow! That would be awesome! Let's hope travel bans are lifted soon. We actually were in Italy in September, but any reason to visit Italy is a good one. I'll for sure come over to get them and use them to make the cad file. Thanks! Much appreciated. (I hope power plant is in the Northern part of Italy :-))

Is it improper to ask the cost of modern teak decking like this? I know the labor has come way down with the method shown here.
Mate I got a to pay only the raw material of my teak deck ask the guys sponsor me. But normally one teak deck like my one will cost 12/15k!!!
No substitute for the real thing. That deck is the real thing. In America we call it, "The Real McCoy." Authentic.

Hi Gabriele. I like your videos. I also have an old 312 that im in the process of renovating. Did you ever consider Flexiteek or some other synthetic solution for your deck?
Hello Oystein!! Thx for write me! Great 312!! if you need some advise happy to help! No I didn’t use or consider the flexyteak I prefer to restore as original with 14 mm teak now look great! 🤙🏻

Where I live it is ice and snow in the winter so i need ti protect the Teak from the elenents in the winter. A maintnenance free solution like flexiteek is tempting, but as you say it would differ from the original look.
Yes true... but teak was always used in nord Europe....
