I had never heard of Daphne's Diary before. Last night I was in a hospital family waiting room with my husband in a hospital room and my dad in the ER (with my sister). After walking between both spaces several times and all the emotional stress, not to mention the dread, unrest and anger everywhere in the USA, this periodical was like a balm for my soul. Where has it been all my life? I will subscribe as a gift to myself for my upcoming birthday.

We just received Issue 7 here in Toronto end of Nov and are always behind. They are also quite expensive. I appreciate your flip throughs because they do help me to decide whether to buy.
Sorry to say it looked distinctly underwhelming. Not very Christmassy at all, in fact a lot of the pages wouldn’t look out of place in a spring/ summer edition.
I used to subscribe to Daphne but they come so late to the US. My local bookstore now carries it, but several issues behind (I just got issue #6). I received last year’s Christmas edition in February so I saved it unopened for this year. I love your flip-through an anyway! 🩷

What a great idea. I really don’t understand why it takes forever and a day for the magazine to arrive in the US.
