I also liked that it took THREE natural 20s to actually seduce a hostile boss instead of doing it on the first one as an instant success! Good Dming there in my opinion.

I feel like ya need some DM discretion here. Nat 20 is NOT always a automatic success.
@@kagemaru9773 Though it seems to be a fairly common houserule, aside from attack rolls, pretty sure nothing else is automatic fail on a 1 or success on a 20. I don't think there's anything wrong with something being impossible, but if a player wants to do something that the DM simply isn't going to allow any chance of success on, then the DM should tell them it's impossible and move on, if a Nat 20 isn't going to be high enough then don't waste the player's time making a roll.

Atleast one person in my group does that every session. 😂 Our last session we (a team of 6) completely obliterated 7 four armed lizard men and took them down in one round. Due to my explosive fireball, one of our dragonborne's shooting a lightning arrow, and our barbarian blindly shooting his crossbow (but shot himself in the eye somehow)
The dm literally said "ok, I give up. You two can't plan attacks anymore. You're too destructive." To me(human sorceress) and the dragonborne barbarian

@@elrafa111 My character tackled the NPC for capture, to which the NPC did an eyebrow wiggle and said something like, "Oh-ho, I see how it is." (it was a lot better than that, I just can't remember). My character and I were thoroughly confused, but my character is also game for the type of character the NPC was, so she shrugged and went with it. I'm still, ooc, waiting for this character to cut and run or try to kill my character...f*ck, this is like Zevran.

The best seduction I've ever seen in D&D was when we killed all of the guards, and decided to Weekend At Bernie's it by having one of us puppeteer a dead guard, go up to the *married* king, and seduce him *with* the dead body. All while rolling nat 20s the whole time. Our DM had the "I'm done with this crap" look on her face the entire session. It was awesome.

In the Shadowrun game I'm currently GMing, I had a Face where plan A was *always* "seduce".
I started rolling a d6 to randomly determine sexuality on PCs. Never once did it successfully prevent a seduction.

Seeing a lot of 'what are the options', but I just mapped it to the kinsey scale.
A 1 prompted a re-roll, where a 1-2 was ace-spec, 3-4 was zero (completely hetero), and a 4-5 was a 1

Re-watching this on quarantine... I love how the guys are actually growing together as a group. In previous episodes, they messed up by arguing and yelling at each other, but now one of them comes with a stupid plan that will very likely fail, and the others' response for that is "can we help?". Loved this small detail you guys are writing into the series.

During my friend's campaign, I rolled a nat 20 to spread a rumor about a powerful noble who was our party's antagonist at the time. The rumor spread like wildfire throughout the entire town and everybody thought he had sex with horses.

Fanstasy costumes were hot from start ;) It's kind of clothes you'd wish to wear but don't have courage to do so ( I do personaly sometimes walk around city in my cloak with separate hood but I am kind of eccentric guy )

And then the Dm gets some mild form of catharsis when the bard who derailed the campaign forgot to take disease resistance.
Not if you're the DM. I've had this happen to me so many times. One time I set up this intelligent monster, created a whole back story and reasons why he was trapped here, gave him lots of dialogue, even spent about a week getting down a really cool voice for him, just to have the party walk in, see a monster, and slaughter it on the first turn. I try to give all my intelligent creatures dialogue, just in case the party wants to talk, or try to get information. But no, they just want to slaughter things.
Well, as long as they have fun, then it's fine.

@@clothar23 Depends on your players. Not all players are murder hobos. Some players prefer conversation over combat. I've done entire campaigns of just court settings and politics.
The intelligent monster was a crazed Spectator that's been guarding an empty room for a couple of centuries and spends it's time talking to the bugs and the minotaur skeleton in the corner, which it adopted as it's family.
It's that exact reason my pansexual bard character is immune to diseases.

@@ddrew1973 it usually is on most non combat rolls, if you look at the players handbook it gives a vague description more or less saying Nat ones fail no matter how skilled you are and Nat 20s succeed no matter how inexperienced you are. The only time a Nat 20 doesn't hit I believe is when the dc or ac is too high

Probably the best part of this episode, is that everyone who's had a bard in their party can relate very easily.
Not quite. My College of Whispers Kenku bard was more of a ninja inquisitor than a seducer, though some of the "conversations" she overheard and got to mimick as proof got rather raunchy. Those sounds were also useful for causing distractions or cover (noises from the room next door, ya know) or setting up/ catching trysts so long as they don't see you're not the lover and instead a teenage humanoid crow. She never found physical love or actually seduced anyone beyond carrying on incriminating conversations, but did find love of family from the party who eventually accepted her.
It was actually our rouge instead of the bard.

I had a bard who managed to seduce almost everything including the boss, who was married and the bard would have needed to roll a 20 to attempt to seduce. She did it and in the end they joined forces to kill the party.

My first character in D&D is one of the most unlucky yet the only one who keeps staying alive, he almost died 6 times and it was only the first week of playing d&d, he almost got eaten by a door, a pack of wolves was not able to kill him while he was unconcious, he was almost sold to npcs as slave by his party members, in the end of his first adventure he got knocked out by two characters from his party and left to die (but still survived), and after all that a dwarf drugged my character and he danced all around town naked while guards chased him
