@@ie.sportsnetwork9879 In the Admirals case, the Brewers are the jersey sponsor. There is also some common ownership between the Ads and Brewers. In the case of the Rampage, it's all ownership (Spurs/Rampage owned by Spurs Sports and Entertainment).
I love the Hershey Bears, it's brown because it's in Hershey Penn where Hershey chocolate is made. It's chocolate brown. Also Bears are brown so it works even more.
Evan Bendall me too... the only Milwaukee sport I will enjoy and go watch... but man... even if it was a team in Madison, I would love a Wisconsin team lol
I think teams should look like their parent team. Easier to know who their parent team is. I know like 90% of them but not everyone is like that. I like the P bruins because they kept the same colors but changed it up so that it isn't 100% identical.
I think you’re probably right about the teams wearing similar colors to the parent club. It’s probably a lot easier for the players, staff etc if a player gets called up.
Hershey and Rochester. Two oldest teams in the leagues history. Also side note as a Hershey resident, the team originally the Bars, named for the candy that Mr. Hershey produced in the town was colored chocolate and white. The bears today carry on the chocolate and white tradition. A community steeped in hockey tradition.
Grand Rapid’s current dark jerseys have the red stripes being more prominent in the shoulder area and the bottom part of the jersey. The pic displayed in the video was 2 years ago. They changed the striping son both that and their home jerseys last year.
I'm been a huge reign fan all my life and even I don't like their jerseys. Back when they were in the ECHL they had an orange and blue jersey with a dragon on their logo that looked 10 times better than their current jerseys
Chicago is Vegas's affiliate and they share the Wolves with the Blues. Next season the Blues' affiliate will be in San Antonio while the Avalanche will have the ECHL's Colorado Eagles as their new NHL affiliate.
I agree with Neil about the teams that just kind of copy the parent club. I wouldn't even include all of those teams in the countdown. Those teams didn't put any thought/originality into their uniforms (or names, in many cases). The Moose had one of the best jerseys when they had the black/green/brown color scheme, but unfortunately went with Jets colors when they moved back to Winnipeg. Good job making the Admirals #1. We're loving the logo/uniforms here in Milwaukee. The Ads are proof you can have your own identity/look and still have a strong affiliation with the parent club, as there is quite a large Predators fan base in Wisconsin.
I Remember when the Hamilton Bulldogs were the Montreal affiliate the pants had the Montreal logo on them so I would that the is supplying that stuff plus nowadays a fair number of AHL affiliates are owned by the NHL team. Thank you for great videos

Yes, I am currently a Vegas fan because I was born there, but my family is from Wisconsin. Nashville is my second favorite because Milwaukee is the affiliate
DimitriLovesSports I’m also a Vegas and Nashville fan. I’m from Milwaukee and remember seeing all their games, and since they feed to Nashville I like the preds. I also like The golden Knights because It’s exciting to have a new team and my friends uncle is Deryk Engelland, who plays for Vegas
That's not the providence Bruins away jerseys. I'm from providence and that is their home jersey actually. Providence is one of the few, if not only teams that uses the "dark" jerseys as their home.

The owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers owns the Monsters as well hence the color scheme. The Monsters have two alternate jerseys: a yellow one and a CBJ-inspired one.
Great job on your rankings. Also you should do a video wearing all green like your Minnesota hat and any other green apparel you have so that you look invisible. I just think that'd be so cool.
I know Chicago’s colors don’t match the logo. But their alternate jerseys make up for it. But the Wolves Burghandy (dont know how to spell it) Is pretty good and should be ranked higher
I like the LV Phantoms jerseys now, but they aren't as good as the Philadelphia Phantoms' jerseys were. After they moved out of philly they changed their colors and jerseys to better match with the Flyers, but their old purple and Orange look was absolutely amazing.

I hate to be that guy, but the Griffins jersey in this video is an alternate that they never wear. Their actual jersey is a dark blue with red and white trim
The Griffins jersey shown in the video is actually the official dark jersey they wore the first year after the change to the black uniforms (and primary logo change). They made some modifications to it the following season to include more red and less gray, which made it look better. They haven't had the dark blue/red color scheme in a few years now.
A bit of constructive criticism: When reviewing jerseys in the future, you should familiarize yourself with the contexts that influence teams choices of colours For example, the Bears chose Chocolate Brown as a nod to The Hershey Company in the Pennsylvania town of the same (where the team's located), because it's the largest chocolatier in America and one of the largest in the world. The town is the namesake of Milton Hershey and his chocolate company, and is also popularly called "Chocolatetown, USA". Nowadays, the town has more going for it than just chocolate, but Milton is the most important person in its history.
+Cole Jordan I was aware of the Hershey history and the importance it place in that area and the influence it has on the team, however in these ranking videos historical significance plays no role as I am strictly talking with a first glance visual mentality with as little biased thoughts as possible. It was definitely never meant to be a historical or education video, it's just for fun.
I brought it up because awareness of historical significance can have the effect of changing a person's perspective about a team's colours from one of dislike to one of appreciation
I dont think that AHL teams copy their NHL affiliate jersey for money reasons, I think they do it to honor their franchise and to have it known that the players’ goals are to reach the NHL. Also, I’m not going to be rude about it, because it is just opinion, but I think the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Penguins jersey should be higher, Tucson jersey is nowhere close to the greatness of the Penguins jersey
Comenting on an old video here, I know, but I´ve always had a theory about AHL teams using the same colors as the NHL teams. My thought is that it´s all about psychology. It really make the AHL players feel like they´re a part of the NHL team franchise. It´s about motivation maybe?
the entire point of the AHL is that they're the main affiliate to the NHL so teams like to make their jerseys and logos and colours similar to the NHL affiliate so you know who they're with, you gotta stop ranking them lower just because they have the same or similar jersey/colours
I know the reason, I mentioned it in the video. You can't really say 'you gotta do this' about someone's rankings because it's subjective. There is no right or wrong.
You used the wrong Hartford Wolf pack jersey, those are their old ones. Also the Senators jersey isn't that original or different because Ottawa have had those as alts for years
Im not a fan of the Belleville Senators jersey i live in the Belleville area and glad that we got a team back but i wish we could have kept our old OHL teams name and Jersey the Belleville Bulls and still be Ottawa's affliate as i am a sens fan

When you half the video complain AHL teams copying their parent team colors, and still one of the few ones that doesn't do that (Chicago Wolves) is ranked in the bottom of all the copiers; can't see logic behind that imho.
Love how rampage have the San Antonio spurs logo on their shoulders
And the admirals have the brewers logo on the left side of the chest
@@ie.sportsnetwork9879 In the Admirals case, the Brewers are the jersey sponsor. There is also some common ownership between the Ads and Brewers. In the case of the Rampage, it's all ownership (Spurs/Rampage owned by Spurs Sports and Entertainment).

Rãyin Yep, gotta agree with you. Why does everyone hate brown so much? I like those shirts.
False, Black Bear
I have season tickets in Hershey and own a dark jersey. One of one team to use no colors of their nhl team
You should do the ECHL jerseys
Congrats on 20k subs
Same
so fast, right?
WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT THE CAPS NOT WINNING CUPS???
Idk if you have seen it, but the new Chicago wolves 3rd jersey is pretty sick.
If Milwaukee got an NHL team, I would definitely want the team to be the Admirals.
Evan Bendall I wish we could get an NHL team here in milwaukee... or at least in wisconsin
seth kibble Same. Even though I do enjoy going to Admirals games
Evan Bendall me too... the only Milwaukee sport I will enjoy and go watch... but man... even if it was a team in Madison, I would love a Wisconsin team lol

Huge AHL fan here, lets go Pens!
Same im a checkers fan
I think the hometown feel gives an nhl feel. Sort of why the teams choose the nhl version of the uniforms.
That Hartford Jersey is hilariously old. No. 97 Matt Gilroy (Currently playing in KHL for Jokerit) hasn't played for them since 09-10 season :D
Can you please rank BCHL jerseys.
The Manitoba Moose actually existed from 1996-2011 with their own colors
The Thunderbirds jerseys look better when you see them in person. Just love them.

Thexela333 why? You can barely see the jersey design under all the ads for teams like Kärpät or Tappara.
I know Chicago’s colors don’t match the logo. But their alternate jerseys make up for it. But the Wolves Burghandy (dont know how to spell it)

I love the Monsters away jersey😍
(kinda bias like always but whatever😂)
I miss the Manitoba Moose's old colors. They were so good and they were original.
QMJHL next
the orange Syracuse Crunch (third) Jersey is killer!
I live in Pittsburgh and I must agree with you. Admirals' shirt rocks. Definitely number 1.
How have I not saw dis yet
Nice shirt Brent! I live 30 minutes from Hamilton I go to a high school in Hamilton I live just outside of Brantford!
Hershey Bears have brown jerseys because it is in Hershey Pennsylvania which is where Hershey chocolate was invented
I’m not entirely sure, put I think the rampage is the Colorado Avalanche affiliate
Another interesting fact is that one of the Manitoba moose teams was originally the Minnesota moose from 1994-1996
Good for you, Neil. You are wearing a FLAMES jersey.
Yesssss
Congrats on 20k Neil!
Love this channel. You guys are hilarious
The reason the ducks have orange in there jersey or there last 3rd jersey is to represent OC or Orange County
Batflip 09 I didn’t know that.
Batflip 09 I mean Neal obviously didn’t know that cause he always complains on how there’s orange in the jersey but no orange in the logo
K.fosty37 *Neil
that doesn't mean he doesn't know.
Thing I hate about the AHL Jerseys is that most look like the NHL just with different logos.
idk if this would be hard but try finding real life pictures of these jerseys... Might change your mind on some of them!
The brown on the bears represents chocolate because Hershey is the chocolate capital of the USA
Finally, the Americans aren't bottom 10! We here in Rochester are proud of our team!
When in March are you going to Boston for a Bruins game?! I’m most likely going on Rask’s birthday, March 10th!
Rank the Manitoba Provincial Midget AAA Jerseys please!
It's interesting that San Antonio has the NBA teams logo on their jersey.
Simon Yeah, it's because they're owned by the same people that own the Spurs

San Antonio affiliated with Colorado for this season and will be St. Louis’s affiliate next season.
I think Hersey was going for chocolate brown because of Hersey
Personally I like the old moose jersey because it was Black with hints of Dark green and gold
The Moose went from being one of the best to now being one of the worst.
Thats not the providence bruins dark uniform
My favorite would have to be the Barracuda because they're the Sharks' farm team and I love everything about the Sharks
lol the rampage have a spurs logo as a patch.
Seems a bit weird, maybe it's ownership group or something?

What about you do ranking the logos of Division I hockey teams?
When will you do ECHL?
Months from now
Belleville senators, my home town :)!

5. Penguins
SJHL?
1. Tuscon 2. Springfield 3. Manitoba 4. San Antonio 5. San Diego
