OMG one of my got picked, I bit late for this one because of work but I was really happy and surprised that one of my ideas in my notifications thank you for picking me
Love the podcast!!! Been learning a lot! ✨ A few suggestions for topics; 1. World’s Wildest Lies: talking about misinformation or beliefs people had/have about animal that are just crazy. 2. World’s craziest mating rituals 3. World’s unusual discoveries: talking about fun/interesting/crazy ways a species was found. 4. World wildest name: Talking about animals with weird/cool backstory on how they got their name. 5. World wildest lore: maybe a bit heavy on the research but unusual animals connected to cultures/religion and their lore around it. Hope this help!
I was desperate to learn more about those freak ass jellies and subsequently learned that the picture used is probably fake, with the diver photoshoped in to change the size perspective
In case no one else has said it yet, that jellyfish picture is fake. They are large (maybe not this large) but it says in the Forbes article that it isn't a real picture.
I liked Connor's trivia segment, it was fun to guess the answers alongside Maya. I don't think it is worth potentially ruining the beautiful podcast set-up with water though. Maybe bring in stompy's kiddie pool or just do it outside
I was late last time so I’m assuming y’all didn’t read it (totally understand) How about world’s cleanest? Grooming themselves or each other, animals with the cleanest homes, or even our little friends that help clean us! Love y’all’s work ☺️🖤
I think something like "world's most optimized" could be fun - animals that have perfectly evolved to fill their specific niche and/or haven't changed much in millions of years.
world's most famous - famous critters of history! like Laika the space dog! or MJ's monkey. Perhaps this would be a bit of a somber episode, a real lesson in conservation, but there's still a lot to learn from a sociological or what-not-to-do perspective, even from Bubbles!
My personal favorite intro of yours is indeed "Welcome to World's Wildest; Hello!" I think the abruptness and slight awkwardness make it memorable and funny! I love watching every week and look forward to every episode!
Many reptiles have sone pretty serious courtship activities… not sure flirting is the right word… also tons of bugs oh and spiders of course get pretty wild with it but they so little and no one’s really paying attention to
The jellyfish photo unfortunately is believed to have had the diver photoshopped in to make it look much larger than it actually was. Still crazy how big they are though!
The chart showing it's length compared to the length of a whale also misrepresents the scale of the jellyfish (outside of length) and the scale of that human being. Not y'alls fault when those images get reposted and obscure the source, but hopefully we catch those next time!
One of my favorite jokes from the old US Whose Line show was during Scenes from a Hat. Colin bringing a tape worm to show and tell just pulling on it endlessly from his throat.
Thai isy favorite podcast to nerd out with fellow animal lovers discovering new things, celebrating known things, and sharing facts! World's : Greediest, Loneliest, Most extroverted/introverted Most liquid Driest
They should do an episode for animals that don’t exist but were created by the entertainment industry. You could break down their ability to survive in real world scenarios or if the could find a niche in a new ecosystem
Suggestion: World's most human (animals who resemble a lot of unique traits of humans or human society) On the same lines, please do an episode about the societal structures of ants and/or bees! I think a lot of people at least sometimes have thought about if humans didn't exist which animals could be considered as the ones to have huge societies or civilizations and maybe this somehow gives some insights? Maybe? Idk but it would be cool! Not a podcast person in general but love to hear you guys. Thank you connor, maya and all the ambassadors :)
I theorize that the purpose of long necked dinosaurs could also be advantageous as young as it keeps there important vitals away and better protected from carnivores and dangers closer to the ground. It is a neat thing to imagine, but so is the idea of feeding in places no other herbivore could feed.
Please do World's Wildest Sounds, what creature makes the most unique sound / cry or World's Rizziest, what animal has the most rizz / mating ritual or World's Wildest Parents , what animal is most parental or the worst.
If maya doesn't want to taze Connor, but connor wants to feel something for once, they should get a tens unit, those electrode things used in physical therapy. They're functionally harmless unless you like, put it over your heart.
That first lionsmane jellyfish picture is well-known to be a fake. The diver is photoshopped in. Yes the jellyfish is big but not as big as implied in the picture.
The intro can just be the two of you trying to decide on an intro, every time
this is my fav comment
Gotta be slightly different each into tho 🙃
this! cuz it’s the reason I love the intro ❤😢
maya: im not tazing you
connor: that's crazy
ahh, yes. maya's the crazy one 😂
“I’ve always wanted you to taze me” is a WILD sentence
to say to your boss 😭
Not Connor about to say “I like being punished” 😳😂
"I've always wanted you to tase me" is crazy
Connor's quiz was a fun addition!!! It was a good way to cover a lot of ground with the topic, all while adding some banter.
Second this bc I proceeded to look all of those up immediately after!
Worlds flirtiest- animals with strange courtship rituals/ adaptations to attract mates (Baboons, Red capped Manakins, Gentoo penguins, peacock spiders ect
Worlds most fictional. They're so different that they feel like they're out of this world.
I like this idea, but I think something like "unbelievable" or "impossible" would work better

Ahh makes sense. Can get to 8 feet across doesn't translate to somehow 3x bigger than a human (even with perspective). Cool Pic though lol

Thanks!
Thanks for the donation! :)

it's basically tradition that you fuss over the intro every episode, and i mean that with so much love 🤣
I think something like "world's most optimized" could be fun - animals that have perfectly evolved to fill their specific niche and/or haven't changed much in millions of years.
Connor being a masochist for 15 secs LUL we all already knew but now its confirmed 🤣🤣 26:04
suggestion- world’s busiest
animals who spend most of their days working or least amount of their life sleeping.
3:47 “It’s a worm that’s 180 feet long, that’s 55 millimeters long!” 🤣
At least she said the right unit a minute later
thats some small ass feet
Worlds chattiest - an episode dedicated to siren
they actually have an ep called worlds yappiest! and i believe they do mention siren in it, though its from a lil while ago so i dont fully remember
world's most famous - famous critters of history! like Laika the space dog! or MJ's monkey. Perhaps this would be a bit of a somber episode, a real lesson in conservation, but there's still a lot to learn from a sociological or what-not-to-do perspective, even from Bubbles!
I live by the Dutch coastline, and I don't know if I should be happy about long wormy boy being here. They're really cool though
14:35
When he said 11 i was oh okay.
11 MONTHS!
Wow! Knowing quite a few more answers to these "longest" questions makes me feel so very accomplished as a obsessed animal lover.
longest mating session gotta be the angler fish no? forever
Connor’s maturity improves at the same speed as a Greenland Shark 😂
My personal favorite intro of yours is indeed "Welcome to World's Wildest; Hello!" I think the abruptness and slight awkwardness make it memorable and funny! I love watching every week and look forward to every episode!
World’s flirtiest - animals with the most extra mating behavior
AKA the bird episode lmao
@@wumbojetyes 😂 I was thinking about birds of paradise…
Many reptiles have sone pretty serious courtship activities… not sure flirting is the right word… also tons of bugs oh and spiders of course get pretty wild with it but they so little and no one’s really paying attention to
world’s worst parents: animals who have interesting parenting methods. barnacle geese!
The jellyfish photo unfortunately is believed to have had the diver photoshopped in to make it look much larger than it actually was. Still crazy how big they are though!

0:30 love the "hello"
One of my favorite jokes from the old US Whose Line show was during Scenes from a Hat. Colin bringing a tape worm to show and tell just pulling on it endlessly from his throat.
Awesome podcast.
loved the quiz section LMAO "ive always wanted you to taze me"
This pod is so fun to talk about in my enviro class

Welcome to worlds wildest, you're favorite podcasts favorite podcast
The image of the jellyfish next to the diver has been confirmed to be fake btw, not AI though just a very good photo shop.
Worlds most surprising relatives!

25:52 Although the picture says Big ben, that's the Elizabeth (clock) tower, Big ben is the bell in side of the Elizabeth (clock) tower.
It’s Big Ben
@@trob2049 The Clock tower that's often misnamed as "Big ben" is the Elizabeth Tower, it's the bell inside that is infact Big Ben.
@zebedeemadness2672you are right but the tower is called Big Ben so often it’s kinda just accepted as being Big Ben.
@@Scoobay No you don't just accept it, the Elizabeth tower isn't big Ben, you don't pander to people's misinformation, you correct them.
Worlds least edible/most inedible, whether that be because it's cute, toxic hardness, distgusting taste or just dangerous.

Can you do world's sweetest?
If maya doesn't want to taze Connor, but connor wants to feel something for once, they should get a tens unit, those electrode things used in physical therapy. They're functionally harmless unless you like, put it over your heart.
