    :'( We adopted our little girl from china 3+ years ago. I hope one day that we can find her biological family to let them know that she is okay and , if the time ever comes that she wants to know, who they are.

      Same here. My daughter is registered on 23&Me and today will be sending her DNA sample to Ancestry. As more people send their samples in, the possibility of finding her Chinese birth parents increases. She is 16 now and I'm hopeful that she will someday find out more about where she originally came from even tho she will always be my daughter.

      bless you & your family, kind person & humanity still out there in all the race and nations. ANYWHERE ❤️❤️❤️ glad you bring life for someone!!
      Others kids is not lucky like that.. they're still waiting in foster centre
      Growing up to feed by foster mom "your parents will come someday to take you home" and these kid growing up with this believe & hope there are parents out there will come to take them. But only 1/10 kids get adopted, after 14yo the kid can't get adopted
      Mostly of them is suffering when they're growing up. After 17/18year old, they get out of center, no family & too youngful & have NO EXPERIENCE LIFE
      Some is lucky to growingup good, have study & find a jobs, living decent life. But mostly of them is not that lucky, suddenly get kick out of center at young age, no family, no hope, no exprerience of life, no skills,.. many of them get abuse, trauma & have slightly mental-issues. Some get dark-future wait for them, end up like in gang or did criminal thing.
      God, this is why adults people please use condom & pills, their "mistake" pregnant but it can changing & harmful a whole life of the newborn kid.

    • @amberg4131
      @amberg4131 2 года назад

      You try and comfort yourself by telling them they will be better off. That family can provide for them better ,or they won't be effected by the anger/abuse of the father or mentally ill aspects of the mother or your families involvement for their own sick justification to throw it in your face. I think about the future knowing that she will be safe,not face any negative hostile environments of domestic spousal abuse, just a warm happy fun filled love filling home even if she's the only sibling. She will be able to come out of her shell being healthy physically mentally and spiritually. I don't enjoy my life though I still at a loss of living without giving my love to my child. I don't think I should feel happy about anything. Cuz I do know one day my daughter will show up at my door angry and bitter at her mother not "wanting" her. That's gonna be the day that my heart dies from pain.
      Tldr: giving up a child is separating your soul your life your youthful essence. You think of them everyday and hope that when they're old enough, they'll understand that it wasn't what you both may have wanted but it was what was needed

    I am so ashamed to admit that I had the wrong idea about how Chinese parents feel about their daughters. I live close to a university. A Chinese student was killed. I could see the pain in her parents eyes when they came all the way from China to try to seek Justice their daughter. I knew then that I had been taught and I believed the wrong thing for so long. They loved her so much and sadly they will never see their child again.. The foul thing that calls himself a human killed this child and disposed of her body so the parents don't even have her remains. I can't imagine the pain that they went through. This murderer was convicted and will serve the rest of his life in prison with absolutely no chance of parole. Again I'm deeply sorry for my past ignorance.

Plenty of families thought of their accident as a happy surprise and wanted to go along with it, hoping that they'd be able to keep the second child a secret. So how can the birth family 'loved' the child so little (if this can even be called love) that they chose to abandon her just because of her gender? They gave her up becuase of one child policy but that is not all the reason they chose to give her up. They also chose to give her up because they want a BOY. Take that in mind.
