In a way this what I want to do to my GT, I want it fully legal and what ever it can do on 93 is fine with me.. I ain't looking for the moon tune, I just want about 200/250 more than stock.. I would be totally happy with 600 to 650 wheel on pump gas. I have a Performance pack 2017 Gen 2 Dog and she will already spin the wheels 1,2 and 3rd too..
It's a lot of money to do this right that's for sure, I already started looking into it.. And by right I mean wheel's tires, springs, suspension, all that needs to be beefed up to lay the power down right. A decent wheel and tire package is $3500, the Whipple is that much too, Then a clutch, then that turns into a better fly wheel/ So on, and you can see how expensive a move like this gets..

Gt500 stock bottom end can handle a 3.8 whipple super impressive 💪🏾
Yes sir! The predator engine is a beast!
Beautiful GT500 and magnifico set up of the Whipple 3.8. Look forward to more of your videos.
Thank you sir! Appreciate the compliment.
Those are some nice numbers and a good explanation of moding factory Blower VS Whipple. Can't wait to see the review of it at the Track.
L&M intake only cams pickup some killer gains for the GT500 i was shocked at the gains from the one PBDyno did. Id forsure be looking at them next.
Damn badass. And to think you still got the cats on, wow.
Thank you! Yes sir we are definitely leaving power on the table with having the factory manifolds with cats.
Great video awesome power gain sharp car
Thank you Jimmy!
Very well done!
Thank you!
We have similar 3.8 setups, nice numbers!
Thank you!
Very nice ride! Keeping mine stock until warranty is up. Already on OEM superchager #2 at 5000 miles. Those plastic couplers suck!!! Out of warranty it's def getting a whipple like my last ride.
Thank you for the compliment! I def understand the desire to keep the warranty. Mine would have expired this September…. I just didn’t want to wait any longer 😬🤣
Thing sounded nuts. Glad i dropped by lol.
Thank you Dre!
I'm thinking WOW Whipple "3.8" has more displacement than my old Honda Accord with 3.0 V6!
@bowenzmotorsports. Can you tell me about the VMP predator intake. It looks like it’s been modified with the inlet tube. Can you tell me what pieces you used?
We will have a standalone video about the vmp airbox and ice tank later this week. We will be offering this combo to our customers who wish to run it with their whipple. Shoot me a email if you’d like pricing or have other questions.

I just put a Gen5 Whipple on my Gen 3 22GT /and on other cars including my 10GT500 KB 3.6, and ProCharger, ported eatons etc NOTHING RUNS LIKE THE GEN5 WHIPPLE YOU DO 5 back to back pulls jump out and hold your hand on the blower and it literally be Cool to the touch! I NEVER SEEN A BLOWER PERFORM LIKE THIS AND ADD NO HEAT AT ALL! It’s pretty crazy!
Absolutely there’s no other blower on the market that can match its cooling capabilities!
Awesome number , dose this run with stock manifold and cataylic convertor? Or you run long tube headers?
And what is the big diffecult part you face during the swap , ?
Yes, in the video we explain that we purposefully tested it with stock manifolds and cats for those customers who live in areas that require cats.
@@BowenzMotorsports Lund previously stated the oem cats will not work with E85 or anything over stock boost on a 2020+ GT500, they indicated the cats will blow out and destroy the engine. Have they changed their position on this from more testing or is this a time bomb?
@@pro5.019 any high horsepower application with cats, is not recommended to do back to back or long extended high speed pulls for the possibility of melting a cat. If you plan on doing half mile events or things of that nature, would be best to run off road pipes.
Nice
Thank you!
How do you think torque compares? I was pretty set on a ported blower set up but you’re right, whipple is basically cheaper and with far superior cooling capabilities. Not to mention less labor intensive since you don’t gotta remove blowers, send it out to get ported etc
The predator engine, just like the coyote are not know for the best torque numbers. Then factor in a bigger blower than stock and it will suffer a bit more. But in the case of our car, stock with jlt intake the car did 573rwtq and the whipple on 93 did 635rwtq and 741rwtq on e85.
@@BowenzMotorsports That’s pretty good man! Definitely a great set up
@@BowenzMotorsportsthat is indeed true but at the same time it’s what helps them hook better than the competition .
@@Oliver-ft2fqyes it should def help the car on launch. But then again these cars don’t launch well anyway lol.
Are you concerned about the rotor issues these kits are having at certain blower RPMs?
What RPM does the car idle at?
Not at all, as a whipple dealer I know they stand behind their product, if there is a warranty issue they always take care of the customer if there is no abuse. The reports of this that have been spoke on, are guys over spinning the blower.
Idle rpm is 900. Lund won’t do it any lower with the whipple throttle body.
Why is E85 more capable then a non ethanol gas? Does the ethanol burn hotter?
E85 actually burns cooler and has more octane, with those two benefits you are able to run more timing… all of that helps create more horsepower. 😊
@@BowenzMotorsports thanx for the new knowledge
Is the trans tuneable now?
Not yet, rumor is tremec will release something this year. All Lund can do at this point it set the manual mode to auto up shift at 8k rpm.
Who would you sell your stock supercharger too? I ask because I want to do a whipple to my 2 Gt500.
I sold mine to a gen1 coyote owner. It’s a popular swap for them. Contact us if we can help you with your whipple purchase! 😁

What size is the lower pulley on that vehicle?
Hey Rob, it’s still the stock predator lower crank pulley. No aftermarket balancer.
@@BowenzMotorsportsah yea what size are they? I’m not familiar the vehicle but interested to convert a whipple 3.8 on my Mercedes e55 upgrade from the gen 3 2.9 whipple.wondering what blower rpm is?
Mercedes has 150mm lower pulley and 56mm drive on the 2.9 but blower is exceeding 18000 rpm and lot of heat. Want run the 3.8 newer tech and not be squeezed so hard.
I think that this supercharger looks more at home than the stock one.
