How Jerry Cantrell hasn't acknowledged how great you guys are is beyond me! He should take it as a compliment if nothing else. It's like you guys are reprising and building on sound we've all been looking for. While AIC is now taking a cool new direction you are building a old school monster sound that we all loved! Long Live Grunge & Kudos
The awkward moment when you're from Chicago but still you manage to sound like Seattle in his best moment. I don't care how much views this shit have. This is probably the best record i have listened this year.
@@brendanielson Its time to get with Greta van Fleet and take the new generation of Rock by Storm, and trust me both of you guys together doing a show would go down in the Rock history books for all time and I believe would be the start of something really big in Rock, give it some serious thought, I know it would be a big shot in Rock and just what it needs, now get busy and hook up with those boys and tear it up 👊👊👊👊👊\m/
I drove 6 hours to see these guys in a shit bar in the middle of nowhere. I was immediately flabbergasted by their music as I discovered them and AIC is my favorite band. They took their influence and fueled a whole new monster. They were phenomenal live and I wish they could have continued on. Long live CHOUT!!!
Omg this is the most epic thing I've heard just as I thought the sound of real grunge and rock was dying this band has blessed my ears and my soul a d showed me that there will be another to carry on the legacy Seattle has left us
The moment you realize the best album you've heard in years is from a band you just found a couple hours ago. You guys are going to be huge! Hope to see you in concert one day. Instant fan!!! Any merchandise coming soon?
These guys should blow up!! I got this cranked and it sounds killer!! Head bangin and head shakin!! Could be the next big band to break the barriers!! Keep it up guys!!!
New or newer bands like this are not going to be huge, soundly this is nothing innovative anymore. There were/are bands with a kibda similar sound and also with some known member but despite that they didn't make it.
Dude, this is completely awesome. I play guitar and play chains 90% of the time. I’ve listened to AIC since day one. I wore out 3 facelift and 2 Dirt cassettes. Yes cassettes... This should be on the radio. I just posted to William Duvall this link and said I’d love to see them grab a band like y’all to open on their tour. This is some of the best stuff I’ve heard in years!!
I’ve seen them several times and I actually think they are better live! I do love the album and have listened to something from it almost daily since I got it on its release day. But live? These guys will rock you to your core!
Dude, I had the Dirt cassette and I could swear that they sing "Would?" differently at the end than on any other version. He sings: "If I could Would you?" instead of "If I would could you?" Am I imagining things? If you could remember would you, please, let me know.
Someone from the Alice in Chains group referred the song Seasons. Listened to this band for the first time and they're "Kick Ass!" Definite Layne Stayley and Jerry Cantrell undertones, but with originality of their own.
In ‘91 or ‘92 my service buddy popped in his AIC Facelift cassette in on the way into work on base(and I thought goofy name🤣), and from first listen I was instantly hooked on Layne’ vocals on We Die Young and Cantrell’ riffs. I was never able to see them live before Layne passed. Fast forward...this past week I discovered Chout, and it’s been a great time going through your different groups Brendan, and these live performances. I’ve been forwarding links to all my rocker buds; and they’ve been equally blown away. Unbelievable covers of Layne; but your originals are fantastic too. Bummed I missed seeing Facelift at The Castle Theater here in Bloomington; but hope to catch a Chout show soon. Great album Brendan! Congrats to you guys! Hope you get plenty of airplay.🙏🏼 Out of Time is my current favorite... Cheers! 🤟😎👍

I stumbled onto a RUclips video of some extreme skateboarders in Hawaii - their RUclips channel is called "Moke Life" and they have a video called "CHOUT". I was curious to see what they were all about and MAN they're awesome! Just for fun, I played Chout's Dogwater album from the beginning while watching Moke Life's "Chout" skater video on mute... *OMG* this is CRAZY!! The skate video was in near-perfect timing to the first three songs on Dogwater! You have to see this!! The coincidental timing of the two videos is pretty freaky and almost unbelievable! I was so blown away by how cool it was, that I had to replay it several times, lol. Trust me - when you see it you'll be like *NO* *WAY!* The timing is SO close that if I didn't know better, I'd think the songs Seasons, So Long Long Gone, and Restless Heart were intentionally synced to Moke Life Chout skater video! (But I know they were not!) You have to see this to appreciate what I'm talking about here. I especially love the beginning of the skater vid where "Punchy" the Hawaiian Punch dude gets punched in the face and falls to the ground in perfect timing to the beat of "Season's. You'll see what i mean when you watch it! :D :D There are so many great scenes in the skate video that make you go WTFFF because they seem to be made to go with the music - or vice-versa! Like when Brendan Maier sings "What you gonna do with all that pain inside?" - just as a dude wipes out, lol! In another part a dude goes flying through the bushes to the beat of the music, lmao! And the song Restless Heart - that super slow siick heavy beat starts just as the video shows one of the skaters laying flat on the ground, then going in slow motion...then several guys are shown doing a massive wipe-out just as Brendan sings "Ohhh noooo". It's great, lol. I think Chout (the band) has some perfect tunes for extreme skate videos!! Maybe some big-name skaters will pick up on this and use a few Chout songs in their videos! That would be some huge publicity and would be seriously cool! This is what I did to get the "synced" videos: Open two tabs or windows - one with the "Moke Life's Chout" video and the other with "Chout - Dogwater [Full Album]" (this video). Hit pause on both videos and start them both at 0:00. Mute the sound on Moke Life video and CRANK the volume on Chout Dogwater video. Hit play on Chout Dogwater video, then *QUICKLY* (within 1 second) hit play on the "Moke Life Chout" video and watch it in full screen as Chout Dogwater plays in the background. This is crazy!! It was so cool I had to watch/listen like 5 times, lol. Okay now that I wrote a mini-blog, here's the Moke Life Chout Hawaiian skater video - check it out! ;) ruclips.net/video/LzWHq-2eowk/видео.html

You can try to contact Mike!, I think he's way more open to people than Jerry is, last time i saw him here in Argentina he ran to a Taxi while Mike just finished saying "We came all the way down just for you guys! :D"

YES! Another MN fan!!! Hoping for a MN show soon!!
@@Donna777 I'd go in a heartbeat to see these guys if they came to Minnesota. Especially upper Minnesota. Like Duluth. Because, I'm way up here.
Oh hey, northern MN here too. The other side though (near Fargo).
Complete BADASSERY!!!
Pretty good stuff right here I’m digging this
Simply awesome!! 2 upvotes if I could! I think people down vote just because! Lame!!
Oh....my....god.... What did I listen to right now? Why did I appear to just find you now? (thx RUclips algorithm) Should've found you way earlier! You guys....seriously - you are the best band of the late 2010s. The best album I literally could listen to during the last 10 years. It contains every aspect of what I like in rock and puts a big sweet cherry on top of it (especially your guitarist). Incredible! I think you will be one of those bands one will still experience/listen very influencing stuff from, even after 20 years. Hope your work gets the huge gratification it seriously deserves!
Greetings from Germany. One fan more from over here!
Phenomenal album!
Good to bring grunge sounds back guys are awesome looking forward to more
Layne resurrection!
Subbed quick. You guys need to play here in Southern West Virginia and I'll come see you! There are multiple venues nearby to play.

@@SalandFindles Damn right! I'm not far from Beckley myself, and I'd be there in a heartbeat as well. Just discovered this band a few hours ago and have been playing this album non-stop. Best album I've heard in a while. I hope they are in our area one day! 🤘🏻
@@johnmcgrady4397 A band like them might create a buzz around here.
@@SalandFindles I agree! I can see them getting huge in the future. I've been missing this type of music for a while.
They are so damn good!!!
Instant fan.
This is just the thing I've been looking for\m/
