Both shades looked beautiful on you, I wouldn't like to say which was best. I must say I'm surprised how matte it looks for a CT product, her models usually look like the tinman.

Just wanted to comment and don’t know if you would agree but because your going back to being blonde in hair colour and I can see your greyer hairs at your roots (I’m exactly the same with my greys and I’m the same age as you 42) I think you would look really awesome with the silver grey hair fully all over. I too had found a lot of CT products hit or miss & had stopped buying the brand, but had a feeling this was good & also bought shades 1 & 2. I’m a light medium skin & can use both & blooming love them. It’s the perfect consistency & the perfect replacement to my old Chanel Cream bronzer - cos the new Chanel formulation isn’t 😉
I watched Charlotte’s video but was waiting for yours as I’m closer skin tone wise to you. I’m scared of bronzer as I often look orange. I really didn’t like the Chanel. I am tempted by the fair BUT could it look a bit muddy? And that price 😩. The only bronzer I use is the light filmstar bronze and glow and even then sparingly!
YAS! I am cool/fair and I can’t wait to scoop up the fair shade of this! Wouldn’t mind the medium shade also, but for the price, I’ll go with fair. I’ve got similar ones to the second one. It’s hard to find a good cream bronzer for fair skin. They all pull orange on me. I haven’t even seen this on the face yet, but I’m sold. I hope I can get it next week! Very intrigued by how firm it is. I’m not scared of creams or liquids, I love them, but the stiffest cream bronzer I have is from Fenty. Anywho - great video so far! ❤️❤️

I got the fair shade. I am your shade twin and am really happy with the fair shade (btw, you were right about the Lancome Idole waterproof mascara, it is very good. I ordered the idole concealer on your recommendation. I find the Doublewear concealer to be better than Pat Mcgrath which runs off on me, so I will be interested to see how the Idole one compares)

I will eventually get the C.T. crm bronzer in fair to contour my jaw line as it looks to be very close to the Filmstar bronze &glow contour shade. I’m transitioning to mostly cream products for my dry, mature skin. There is a learning curve to using mostly cream products, but my skin prefers them.
Have you tried Paypal? i am from Iceland and I can use Paypal in Sephora even (they don’t accept my card but I can use it through Paypal, then I send it ofc to a friend in NY)

This does look great on you. Gemma, could you please do a tutorial on getting a fair person ( I am your shade twin) doing a 'no makeup' bronzy look. The kind of look you might have if you spent the day at the beach in Greece (I'm going there this summer), but don't want to actually get sun - without having a bronzed head on a white body! I am practically translucent without makeup, and don't plan on getting an actual tan. I have seen a few products which look gorgeous such as the Tower Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer in West Coast. When I put that on my skin it look like evening sunlight on my skin. But I don't know how to get the whole look. Pleeeeze!!!

Now i dont know which one to choose 😂 I think i will get both in Medium. I look awful in cool tones, and apart Sisley touche de soleil, i dont think i have anything in warm tone. I have Chantecaille in Serena, and its ok , but little cool on me. And CT powder bronzer i have in medium, but its not so warm either . i think i probably needed tan one. I like CT products but what I don’t like are the ridiculous claims on some products & overly dramatic flowery language. I can’t get into the “250% of women said they looked 20 years younger” and fifty “darlings” 😂🤦♀️
Exactly… the language and claims really put me off too! It’s like they say let’s make some claims up, flatter them and they will buy it as they are dim …..but we aren’t that dim! They take what are usually really nice /beautiful products anyway and claim they are life changing, make you look sixteen and a wonder-product! Nothing wrong with a plain ole beautiful product! While the "darlings" thing is annoying, the increases of 250 percent aren't that crazy. 250 percent just means 2.5x. So if there is 250 percent more moisture in the skin that just means double the moisture level, for example. But I agree the pretentiousness of CT is off putting.

I always wondered if I can use bronzer. I'm very pale, so i thought if I use bronzer the rest of my body stays pale (if that makes sense)... Do I have bronze the rest of my body so my face wouldn't stand out... I don't contour either because to me it still looks like bruises
Stopped buying CT after she brought out that horrible lip balm with the cheap packaging, not to mention the ridiculous claims on her foundations 🤦🏼♀️ but darn it that bronzer looks fabulous. I probably wont purchase it because I’m loving my westman atelier contour stick which works as a bronzer for me and it is just a dream to work with.
Great review. Can I ask anyone with the original Channel cream bronzer what texture is it. Gemma described it here as a cream slippery, emollient, with a sheen type of finish. I don’t find this, I find it quite dry and almost cream to powder finish.. not matte but definitely no sheen. I was disappointed when I got it as I was hoping it was a cream and not like a solid creme kind of thing. Have I got a dud! Should it be as Gemma described? My dry Skin would prefer a sheen and a more moisturising finish ☺️
As someone who’s the fairest of the fair, Chanel is the most awful shade ever. Ompa loompa orange, I ended up letting my four year old paint with it lol
I loved the Bareminerals ‘sheer sun’ Bare Skin liquid bronzer🤎🤎🤎 but it was discontinued. I know a different product than a cream but has anyone got any recommendations for liquid bronzers please? Ideally for fair skin with no or very very little shimmer. I don’t mind a sheen or a dewy / moisturised look / finish as I have dry dry skin. I’m having a nightmare replacing it since they discontinued it. The ones I’ve tried are all to radiant/shimmery for me and my crinkled skin 🤪😆
2 liquid bronzers that might interest you, the KVD beauty liquid-gel contour, and milk makeup bionic liquid bronzer. Taylor Wynn is very fair and has a video using milk makeup bionic, and Jessica Braun is also fair/light and has videos reviewing both (if you wanted to see it on fair skin)
I'd use it the same way. Just because it says contour on the label doesn't mean you can't also use it as bronzer if you prefer a cool toned bronzer. xxx
Personally I don’t think you can say a brand is overpriced unless you’ve tried it - unless it’s way more expensive than similar brands on the market Charlotte Tilbury isn’t more expensive than a lot of high brands And a lot of the dupe products manage to dupe the colours but not the formulas Non of this is specific to Charlotte Tilbury but just in general seems a bit unfair to say a brand is overpriced if you haven’t tried it

Usually Tilbury packaging is unique to her brand. Not this time. Tilbury cheapened out. Cut corners. This packaging is a direct knockoff from the Makeup Revolution Glow Splendour bronzer, from 2020!
Revolution has been trying to knock off CT product packaging for years so it's highly likely it's the other way around. CT brought out the red and gold packaging years ago with their New Year range and it's consistently appeared in her collection including the limited edition ranges. xxx
@@PamperedWolf Tons of brands are continually trying to knock off Tilbury. So maybe it's poetic it's flipped on them this time. Regardless, their 2020 bronzer packaging, is CT's 2022 bronzer packaging. Tilbury normally 'creates' new unique packaging. Tilbury's new release has used generic packaging, with her logo/branding stamped on it.

I always wondered if I can use bronzer. I'm very pale, so i thought if I use bronzer the rest of my body stays pale (if that makes sense)... Do I have bronze the rest of my body so my face wouldn't stand out... I don't contour either because to me it still looks like bruises
Stopped buying CT after she brought out that horrible lip balm with the cheap packaging, not to mention the ridiculous claims on her foundations 🤦🏼♀️ but darn it that bronzer looks fabulous. I probably wont purchase it because I’m loving my westman atelier contour stick which works as a bronzer for me and it is just a dream to work with.
How do you usually get all of the product out of your hair line ?

Great review. Can I ask anyone with the original Channel cream bronzer what texture is it. Gemma described it here as a cream slippery, emollient, with a sheen type of finish. I don’t find this, I find it quite dry and almost cream to powder finish.. not matte but definitely no sheen. I was disappointed when I got it as I was hoping it was a cream and not like a solid creme kind of thing. Have I got a dud! Should it be as Gemma described?
My dry Skin would prefer a sheen and a more moisturising finish ☺️
The original Chanel cream bronzer was a drier matte finish like you have described but they reformulated it and now it’s more emollient

I loved the Bareminerals ‘sheer sun’ Bare Skin liquid bronzer🤎🤎🤎 but it was discontinued. I know a different product than a cream but has anyone got any recommendations for liquid bronzers please? Ideally for fair skin with no or very very little shimmer. I don’t mind a sheen or a dewy / moisturised look / finish as I have dry dry skin. I’m having a nightmare replacing it since they discontinued it. The ones I’ve tried are all to radiant/shimmery for me and my crinkled skin 🤪😆
2 liquid bronzers that might interest you, the KVD beauty liquid-gel contour, and milk makeup bionic liquid bronzer. Taylor Wynn is very fair and has a video using milk makeup bionic, and Jessica Braun is also fair/light and has videos reviewing both (if you wanted to see it on fair skin)

I'd use it the same way. Just because it says contour on the label doesn't mean you can't also use it as bronzer if you prefer a cool toned bronzer. xxx

I haven’t been able to get on the “Charlotte Tilbury” bandwagon. Way too overpriced for my blood. And their brand is so easily duplicated
Personally I don’t think you can say a brand is overpriced unless you’ve tried it - unless it’s way more expensive than similar brands on the market
Charlotte Tilbury isn’t more expensive than a lot of high brands
And a lot of the dupe products manage to dupe the colours but not the formulas
Non of this is specific to Charlotte Tilbury but just in general seems a bit unfair to say a brand is overpriced if you haven’t tried it

Just not loving it. Maybe it’s me but looks more like you are changing skin colour as opposed to adding “sun” kissed bronze. Chanel is nicer. Looks a bit dry. 🤷♀️❤️
CT is just too expensive and I prefer a smaller cream bronzer that I can finish. I don't want to pay for expensive packaging and marketing costs.

Usually Tilbury packaging is unique to her brand. Not this time. Tilbury cheapened out. Cut corners. This packaging is a direct knockoff from the Makeup Revolution Glow Splendour bronzer, from 2020!
Revolution has been trying to knock off CT product packaging for years so it's highly likely it's the other way around. CT brought out the red and gold packaging years ago with their New Year range and it's consistently appeared in her collection including the limited edition ranges. xxx
@@PamperedWolf Tons of brands are continually trying to knock off Tilbury. So maybe it's poetic it's flipped on them this time. Regardless, their 2020 bronzer packaging, is CT's 2022 bronzer packaging. Tilbury normally 'creates' new unique packaging. Tilbury's new release has used generic packaging, with her logo/branding stamped on it.
