    I feel like this is how’s it’s meant to be done, but none of the companies have bothered to tell us. And this guy was the first to realize it! Thanks for the video, I knew there had to be a better way to get this thing to fit better👍👍

    Awesome! Thanks for making this look less intimidating!
    I always thought the coverlay was crap because it didn't fit!
    Now I know, its just because it wasn't installed right. Great work!

    Very good demonstration, the only way to put the cap on.

  • @PrimeG2
    @PrimeG2 5 месяцев назад

    I did the same to mine. You can even modify the cap, trim holes for other things if you like. But there's really no need to re-do the old dashboard. Unless you want something nice and fancy. The coverlay works perfect. I even painted mine.

    Great video! I do wish however that you would have shown the finished product as well as it being installed in the truck. I watched other videos with the coverlay prduct where the coverlay was installed off the truck and it wouldn't fit. Perhaps your method would have prevented that but it would have been nice to see. Thanks again ffor a great video.

    What is the best way to replace the foam that is destroyed that goes under it?

    • @dirtykustomz
      @dirtykustomz  Год назад +2

      Depending how bad it is you can another part of a old dash and graft it in or go to Home Depot if you got one close by you , get the spray foam and cut it down . Hope this helps .
