Thank you for this. Everything discussed here was very insightful. An accountant transitioning to Cybersec (GRC)
    Like:
    1. Studying like there's no tomorrow 😭
    2. Join a bootcamp and go above and beyond with what you're learning
    3. Documenting what you are learning along the way. Not creating fire in a cave.
I'll definitely use this even as I prepare on this journey.

Great episode! Inspirational story as well. I’m currently in the journey of trying to get an entry role and taking BTL1. Finished all the domains so going to do labs to prep for exam. To see someone transition from pro athlete to cloud engineer is really encouraging. Listening to this story made an hour feel like it was 10 minutes lol great stuff man! Keep these interviews coming.

    Top props to your Dad.
Naija men dey travel o. First time I'm hearing Nigerians 🇳🇬 traveled to Turk and Caicos to settle with his family.
Such a unique story and the guardrails he and your mum put around you guys still gave you that hunger you need to excel beyond your peers and that you'd have ever imagined.
God bless Nigerian parents who choose to leave where they know, to fo aborad to toil and take all sorts to try and better the life of their offspring

    this guy is so funny
especially when he's explaining why things he thought would work didn't work
