    Thank you Noah, great to see yo again. My anxiety comes from catastrophizing about my job, my future, about being an impostor and I cannot measure up with peers at work, and then not sleeping properly because of that, then I worry about not sleeping and looking like a zombie, which then leads me to not think properly at work which aggrevates my impostor syndrome. It becomes a vicious cycle. I have no one else to turn to, I can't afford an hour with a psychiatrist...

    I feel that childhood fear was learned behavior from our parents. And when we exhibited fear, it would create an echo chamber, triggering their response. Very toxic cycle.

    Hey Noah, I'm just wondering, what is your personal experience like now after you shift from head to the heart and other places with regards to identification with your self? I think before you said you never had any self-referential thoughts about being good or bad in any way. But you did have thoughts of preferring this food or that food, this song or that song in a given moment, and will sometimes identify with thoughts that say "I prefer" or "I like". Is that different now or still the same?

    • @NoahElkrief
      @NoahElkrief  29 дней назад +1

      The whole concept of identification and any goal of being not identified with some part of myself feels foreign to me now. I can no longer relate to it. I meet everything that arises in me freshly, with kindness. I don't have any idea that to identify with something is bad in any way. But identifying with something could have the impact that there is no space to explore it or meet it with clarity.

    Hello again, Noah!
    It’s always nice seeing you upload, I really appreciate and feel grateful for the wisdom and help you’re providing me and countless others.
    As for the video I kind of wish to share my experience a little bit since I am not that experienced. While I do have compassion for my younger self for their anxiety, fear, stress etc and don’t push away the sensation in the body or feeling I do notice that I am quite terrified of not questioning the beliefs, it feels like if I don’t I will continue suffering (and i dont really want that)
    Are there any ways to disbelieve the assumptions of beliefs without neglecting my younger self and the feeling in my body? Is there any advice you or others would be able to give me to make sure I am not rejecting any part of myself while questioning these beliefs?
    I understand how harmful it can be to ourselves our feelings and our younger selves to neglect them or brush away their concerns so this is why I feel the importance of sharing my experience.
    Thank you very much and keep doing what you do!
    Much love from Spain :)

      Hi. You're welcome. I think the way to know whether it's coming from rejection is about the urgency you want to help them disbelieve conclusions. If you need to do it right away, it's come from some sort of rejection or fear of the feeling staying. If you are patient and relaxed about when to do the disbelieving, then it's coming from a more compassionate place. I feel for you, it might be worth questioning and meeting your fears of not questioning the beliefs.

      @@NoahElkriefThank you a lot for the advice and taking your time to look into it, I’ll definitively give it a shot. I really want to get it clear, is it also worthwhile to ask the emotion itself how they feel about me? As in, if they feel like I am rushing it? I usually do the work imagining another person in front of me with the emotion or my younger self so dialogue is possible.
      Again cheers to you for your advice and help!

      You can ask the anxious one within you, "What can I do for you? How can I support you?"
