sabbathtribute well, getting old is a good thing. Metallica have learnt valuable life lessons from the things they’ve seen in their life. Perhaps if they were as old as they are now they wouldn’t have caused jason to leave.
Wouldn't say always on point bc 1991 Moscow listen to enter sandman you can hear him yell "sleep with one eye open" but he can't hit that really high note and it just sounds bsd
Back when 1. Lars drum kit was badass 2.the crowd was badass 3.concert was a sellout 4.no one recorded with their phones or cameras 5. No autotune was used
That was an awesome concert and a great day...the acts were all brilliant, first time i ever saw Metallica and was a fan afterwards, Wembley Stadium was on 2 stops down on the train..went to so many great events there while living in London for a few years
This is insane! I saw this from tv when I was 11. Pure gold. One of the best performances ever. The best metal band in history. They're in the peak here. James is the main cat, his voice, riffs and the look. Wow! Lars is incredible. Jason brings crazy energy and Kirk is just mindblowing! The sound is amazing. Miss those days for sure! Metallica was something different, just 4 dudes in their black uniforms.
bad A*s performance, and James with his long hair; I think he looks better with his long hair!! James Hetfield voice changed from the 90s,but I think still has a amazing sounding heavy metal voice!!!
I wish Cliff was there because from 1988 until 1999 metallica sounded so fucking brutal playing live and lars's druming was so perfect and loud now imagine that with cliff on bass FUCKING BRUTAL!!
I remember seeing that on tv back then in 1992 and still got VHS Tape 🤘🔥 i was blown away, and still think that its the best live performance of that song ever 🤘🤘🤘
I can't believe it's been nearly 30 years since i was at this concert. Was 16 at the time and travelled down with a mate from North Wales to Wembley. Queen were my favourite band and I also loved Def Leppard and GnR but had never heard Metallica. I'll never forget this song opening the concert and the crowd going nuts. Was a huge fan of Metallica after that 😄. An amazing day with so many great bands playing !
Maybe Black album is not the best Metallica’s album. But at that time, they have the best sound ever. The guitar tone, bass, vocal, drum kit is just magnificent. Thank you bob rock!
Año 1992, miraba este mega concierto en casa..lo dieron por Telefé y recuerdo que lo gravé en VHS..ahí vi a Metallica y fué amor a primera vista! Saludos desde Argentina!
This drum kit, and the silver sparkle kit he used for load and reload were the best sounding drum kits he’s used. Don’t believe me? Go listen to the first SnM. He uses that silver sparkle kit for SnM as well!
Onour Black Eagle. This is powerful indeed. But there's one completely out of this world thing that is heavier than even this one. It's called Monsters of Rock 1991 in Moscow. That is a fucking out of Earth masterpiece where every inch is overpowered with absolutely wild, raw and untamed metal. Watch it. You'll be left speechless, guarantee it 😉
Damn yellow-jacketed goons in front. Go away. Man Lars had hair back in the day -- mouthing the words as he crushes the skins. God-like days for Metallica. I'll see them in June 2017. Yeah, they are old now. Hair is short. And yet, I expect they will bring some thunder. James is 53 now. I'm 47, as are a lot of their fans. We're not quite dead yet.
Every generation thinks "it was better in the previous generation." Enjoy your own generation. Find the great music. It is out there. One thing that was undeniably better was that there was virtually no security at concerts when I was a teen and in my 20s. We could literally jump on the stage and dive off of it with no problems. Again, don't go wishing for another era. Enjoy your own era. There is so much that is great about 2017. It's up to you to find it.
I'm 20 and I'm going to go see them in August and I've never been soo excited wish I could off grown up on the late 80s early 90s to see them with Jason
Metallica probably played this song 10x in concert by the time this concert came, and it was fresh. Imagine having to play this song 9000x 30yrs later. They have to play this song no matter what now. Theyll never escape sandman. sandman owns them.
The most fuckin best enter sandman live perform ever..when the second beast voice still hold those bass..james still had those voice and jason still killing with he voice with a bass..
Divinos!!!!! Lars sin camisa y con unas medias horrorosas como si hubiera salido de un partido de microfutbol , James Hetfield con esos cabellos y barbas a lo loco , Kirk tan inocente criatura con su cara de no partir un plato y el jason Newsted moviendo esa cabeza como un loco . i've always said, that the only reason old concerts don't have cellphones is because they didn't exist. the older generation would have been holding their cell phones too if they had been available.... It isnt because one generation is more enlightened than the other one or anything like that. we would've done the same.
I was at this concert, drove up with my mate and we got lost, never been to Wembley before and in the days before sat navs. We managed to park at the back of the car park and run to the stadium and got there with about 2 minutes to spare before Metallica came on. I've never been so far back in a concert in my life, could barely see the stage 😊. Made it very hard to keep in time when trying to do the radio ga ga claps later in the show due to the screen video/audio sync, but it was a bloody good gig 👍🏼💕
Back when metallica is really heavy ...the drums the bass guitar vocals everything ...mann its so powerful ... Its just rule of nature that everything has its ending so does metallica

It hurts to see how much better James sang back then, how much more energetic the band members and the crowd were. I hate getting old sometimes.
jason made them more energetic
Traumâțu' Mîț Mîț You hate getting old sometimes? ..ha ha getting old is never a good thing. As for metallica, they are in fine form these days. I'll take the new stuff over the black album anyday

Moscow '91 the sandman in god mode.

What a epic crowd, and really good performence
They where making their best just to make Freddy Mercury feel proud of them
Metallica probably bigger in England than in America 😂. They could sell out a stadium of any size in England
