I loved how proudly she introduced her daughter and is protective of how bad the whole pageant culture will be for her... Saw Jen, came here, will definitely be watching this.
I love how there wasn't a bad guy or a mean girl, it was more realistic, so many films seem to need a villain be it a negligent parent or a high school bully for you to get behind the protagonist, this film had none of that and it worked, and was much more relatable because of it
I did have a negligent parent, EVERYONE is considered the bully for not kiss some fat girl's ass and the film bombed.
Its basically a high budget fat girl fantasy. NOT that kind of fantasy. Unless you into that in which case no judgement but the Feds are gonna want to know about your internet history.
Also Epstein didn't kill himself.
I like the fact J.A dont hate her daughter as the mom caracter cause at first i was think that this is gonna go like that
Who is J.L? XD
@I live for suga's chop chop chop in Cyper 3 It's Jennifer Aniston in the film, not J-Lo.
um... jennifer aniston!!
Lol that's not Jennifer Lawrence
Yknow whats also good? I thought the dude was just harassing and joking, but when he said those uplifting words (spoiler bits) uiuggghh, so great!
My heart is happy. "Figure out who you are and do it on purpose"
Yep!!!
Loved that part too
Same
WHATS THAT GOT TO DO WITH ANYTHING???..THIS FILM IS PUSHING LIBTARD DELUSIONS.. BUT NOTHING WE DONT EXPECT FROM HOLLYWOOD THESE DAYS..
@@shaunclark425 It's delusional for a big girl to feel beautiful? Really? Sorry that people need to be reminded they don't need to be picture perfect to love themselves and be happy. If this is an agenda movie, I'll take it.
This is literally what Insatiable should have been
Maxine umm no.... I watched insatiable and it was amazing they shouldnt change anything
n g exactly
@n g Let me go off. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with losing weight in a HEALTHY way. In insatiable she loses weight because her jaw was wired shut. No diet, no exercise. We watch her have an unhealthy relationship with food and not eat anything and feel bad every time she does. It basically tells young girls to go anorexic then you'll become a beauty queen. Punish yourself and you'll have a bikini body like Debby Ryan. Dont eat and the kids in your school will finally notice you. Become thin and everyone will like you and completely ignore the fact that you're not a good person. Not a good message to send.
@@RainbowCockee Cant lie I watched insatiable because I really liked the supporting characters stories and thought it was funny. I hated the Debby Ryan (main character) parts. Her jaw was wired shut so she lost all the weight which basically teaches girls to go anorexic and you'll get a body like Debby Ryans. No diet or exercise and she has tight abs? come on. Let me tell you how they should has changed it. Her whole thing was supposed to be revenge. She should have gone to the gym and pictured every person who ever called her fat and hit the punching bag. Would have been more interesting if she worked for that body.
@@maxine3860 I'm confused, that's what it was about though? Like throughout the whole series it's about her getting revenge on the people who made fun of her while she was bigger. Trying to be happy by getting back at them because she thinks that she can use this new found "perfect" body to do so. She learns throughout it that it doesn't work that way, because she was still unhappy by the end of it. She still struggled with self-esteem, and leftover unhappiness, and the more she allowed that anger to control her, the more ugly she became on the inside. I feel like half of the bad comments towards the show are people who watched the trailer or an episode and then quit. I liked the show itself - it had it's problematic themes and moments, but it never taught people that ED or losing weight was the way to be happy.
It was a really good short film. Gets the point across and ends in under 3 minutes! Netflix is on a roll! 10/10
Areeb Jamal yeah they did tell the entire movie within a few minutes...
Legit! The shortest and an amazing movie❤️
We watched the movie last night- but did a search on RUclips to see interviews - anyway your comment made me laugh so hard at the gym in the treadmill people were looking at me like why is she laughing so hard??? Ha
❤❤❤
I literally just clicked to the end to see when it drops. if Jennifer's in it . i'm watchin'.
Jennifer aniston is good
samez.
It drops on my birthday!
IUSECAMERAS she’s the Lobster 🦞 💙
Literally huh? Smh
I'm a sucker for these types of movies. Will watch lol
I can never resist a Jennifer Aniston movie! Can't wait to watch it.
Same
WHAT?? YOU WANT TO SIT THROUGH MORE RETARDED LIBERAL LEFT PROPAGANDA OF THE 'FAT ACCEPTANCE' TYPE SHIT??
O9i
Oh, yeah, so in.
I love how her mom doesn't hate her for being fat or anything, I like how she supports her and makes sure that she knows what she's getting into. I like that she's a really caring mother, I think that is what has attracted me to want to watch this.
u dont know the whole story
Does Jennifer Anniston even know how to age?
Somebody teach her how to be old. It’s unfair that she gets to be this gorgeous at her age.
@Groundhog All the money in the world is not able to make up for consuming too many calories, and neither can you pay someone to do the exercising for you such that you reap the benefits. Obviously, SHE is the one who refrains from eating in an unhealthy manner, and SHE is the one who works out daily. And, all the beauty treatments in the world won't make up for being overweight and never exercising. It's a cop-out if you insist that if only you were rich, you'd be slender and fit, too.
You're not being honest with yourself.
arx754 he was talking about ageing not being fit. Stop projecting.
@@arx754 I agree put the work in and you can have a figure like hers, but maybe they meant the lack of wrinkles etc and how youthful she looks and that isn't always down to size. Good genetics yes, good diet and exercise certainly but also having access to the best skin care and treatments and dental care etc would have helped. Which is what I think @groundhog mean's.
@Groundhog Thank you for stating the facts. She should look great with her resources. She never has to work again really with 1 million an episode from Friends. Good genetics plays a huge role as well.
She still looks good, but she has noticeably aged in recent years.
Wow, J.A is never old...
Yeah, looking like a young transgender.
Shadab Ansari She needs to fire her surgeon,
@@shadabansari3834 Interesting, how do YOU lool, person with no profile photo?....
@@michaelmallory2926 You need to fire your brain cause it ain't doing great job.
Eugeniya Leshenko she’s got a surgery face, she’s got a puffy face that doesn’t look right, she’s clearly had surgery. I was watching the Supergirl series earlier (it’s shit but I was bored) The woman that plays the president is 67 and looks amazing, she should give the details of her surgeon to Jennifer.
I remember reading this book a few years ago. This trailer was a nice treat. Definitely will watch
is it from the book Miss Dumpling?
@@laurencetremblay3700 The book is just called Dumplin'! It's by Julie Murphy
@@picklechipswave I have the book and I didn't even know haha thank you!!
this was like a *massive middle finger* to stereotypes
The mom actually loves her daughter and is proud of her no matter what, you can tell. It's refreshing considering what a mother-daughter relationship is in movies about beauty pageants
I’m so watching this...yes break those stereotypes and show them who you truly are and shine , being confident isn’t easy and people can spend years to feel comfortable in their own skin watching this trailer made me so happy and I cannot wait for it
So is there gonna be a magical black Dolly Parton? Yes it is!
DEAR GOD DONT GIVE THE LIBTARDS IDEAS MAN...
Why bring race into this. Don’t start racist. Can’t help your selves can you. Are you mentally ill?!!
Yes, there was a beautiful black Dolly Parton. She was my one of my favorite parts in the whole movie
I really love how comfortable and confident she is in her own skin, unlike so many other films where their just ashamed to be themselves
"I'm not the Joan of Arc of fat girls" love it just got the book after watching this trailer im about to dive right in.
Def gonna watch this. JA grows like a fine fine wine. 🔥🔥
People got to stop revealing entire plotline in trailers. What is the point in watching the movie then!?. 😏
The plot of this movie is white privilege
@@notleftvsrightnationalismv4666 it does feel like it, doesn't it !?
sandy This movie is based on a book. LOL, it's like saying don't reveal the plotline of a Harry Potter movie. Most people around the world already read the Harry Potter books, but still went to watch the movies.
You might be right sarah. But still there are people like me who haven't read book and don't want to get spoiled by the trailers. And i don't think this book is as popular as harry potter series. lol.
@@sandeepc309 You do have a point. Unfortunately, we now live in an era where having the internet means people can get their information at the click of a button and there is no consideration given to whether or not everyone wishes to see it.
IS THAT GINGER MINJ AND JENNIFER ANNISTON IN THE SAME MOVIE??!!!
YUP. :) Joshua Allan Eads - in the flesh!
My thoughts exactly!!!
I KNOW RIGHT WHEN I SAW GINGER I WAS LIKE AM I DREAMING
RACHEEEEEEEEL :)
kkkkkk
NO 🚫
Jennifer aniston
Ikr!! Same feeling here... absolutely love her unique acting style and persona...
@lnfinity M0VIE wir werden aber nicht von dir
Why did you have to bring up her age? Ageism everywhere! First of all, she looks fantastic. Second, people age and mature, deal with it.
My favourite is 'Just Go With It' The whole cast is brilliant. And so funny!
I don't think the audience would mind it if Jennifer still played the leads in rom com movies at her age. In fact I think they'd love it. It's just the production studios that think they would mind it, and so they dump "older" actresses.
Anyone here for the few seconds of screen time we saw Bex Taylor Klaus? They were adorable.
Local Narwhal Yessssssssssss
YESSSSS BEX THE ONE TRUE LEGEND
YESSS
Excited to watch this coz of Jen. I luv her!
Same here I really like here. I watched all her movies. She's amazing.
same . Jennifer Aniston is just a goddess
I have read this book. Can't wait
Was the book good?
@@girlfriday9939 YES! so good and Willow Dean is so personal and has a lot of feelings about this pageant and her friendship will Ellen (her bff) and Bo is a huge part of the story about how she feels insecure. It's an amazing book.
@@MidnightLeo thanks!
Is the book and the movie the same title?
@@amydelaforce7828 Yes. I am surprised it took them so long to make it a movie

Emma Geller grown up.
Looks like she got Monica's genes.
LOL..
hahahah
😁 😁 😁
Omg hahhaahahha
Vivek patil this was the funniest yet meanest thing I’ve ever watched in my life
When Bo called her beautiful I was in tears >_
Can someone please kindly tell me what song Dumplin singing in the car with her gf?
Well Rebel Wilson looks like you have competition
Right?! And this girl has actual charm!
*faints
I like rebel
There can be more than one big girl in Hollywood. It's not like there's a quota.
She's a much more attractive-looking Rebel Wilson.
Danielle Macdonald is one hell of an actor. Go watch Patti Cake$.
im frustrated that the trailer basically told me everything that's gonna happen in the movie itself but y'know what??? I'm watching this anyway its cute as hell
million times better then insatiable.
No
@@lavat5186 yeah agree. haha insatiable is funnier
It is not showing on my Netflix .. where do i get this ?
I have just seen this film and it’s 2/10 from my point of view, well I’d like to describe why I think so. The matter is that the main character was confused in herself and thought that everybody didn’t like her, but it’s not true. She blamed her mother that the last one didn’t spend enough time with her and only mother’s sister really care about her. But the main character didn’t think that her mother worked a lot and did everything for having enough money for family. Also she blamed her the best friend that the last one didn’t agree with her, but if the best friends have different points of view it’s normal. So the last thing is that she didn’t want to show her feelings for the guy which she liked (by the way he liked her too) because just she couldn’t believe that it was real. All this problems she did herself and she even didn’t want to correct and change it, just cry and blame everybody expect herself.
All in all, the main character is fool and she can’t understand that the main false and problem of this situation is herself. So I got 1 point because it’s not a Russian film plus 1 point for some funny moments. Thaaaaat’s all thanks for your attention meow🦀
Yes, I agree with you. I just saw the movie and it was very average and I'll be nicer and give it like 5/10 because of Jennifer Aniston that I love and the cool drag queens. Where shall I start? First the main character, as you have clearly mentioned, was very immature and rude. Her behaviour towards her mom, bff, classmates, crush was unforgivable. It's not because she's heavier than the average person that she's entitled to be rude and make a fool out of herself and expect people to accept it and feel bad for her. The character is linked to the way the movie plot is shaped as well as its message. The movie makes her mom into the evil one just because the character thinks so but in fact her mother is a role model, a hard-working mom, who was once overweight and made great efforts to lose weight and who is raising ALONE a teenager daughter. Isn't that impressive? No, instead the movie supports the immature teenager who doesn't know what she wants and hates on everyone and hates her body and makes EVERYTHING about her body and yet has never tried to lose weight and the scene where her mother mentions helping her to lose weight because she did it before, and the daughter gets super offended (wtf?). Signing up for the beauty competition in order to rebel is completely ignorant. It's simple, if she's good the way she is then everyone is happy including her, if she's not then she loses weight with the help of her mom and again everyone is happy. She made such a big deal out of her body weight that it became so annoying. Nobody cares. You are fat, that's a fact but nobody cares. If they like you then they like you (your mom, your bff, your crush), if they hate you then they hate you and damn them but first she has to admit that she is fat and assume it. If she doesn't then she gotta lose weight and stop the drama. The movie AND the character made excercising, working out, and the whole idea of losing weight, being in shape, and having a healthy lifestyle, negative. It's like the world in reverse. It is a dangerous idea to spread. Discriminating, attacking or harming someone for being fat is WRONG but on the other hand, being overweight is unhealthy, it's a fact that can't be changed so they need to stop advertising it. The character was fat and that's her own business but the worse part is that she was a bitch, just because she's "the fat girl" so she gave herself the right to a little too extra and nobody will blame her cuz "ohhhh poor fat girl" well no, specially the scene of the dance repetition, as soon as she saw her childhood friend (her supposedly dearest and closest person) blending in during the repetition and making friends easily then she became so jealous of her and so angry and yelled at her and almost hit her instead of supporting her why? because she is enjoying herself and she is pretty and her argument was: oh you're not fat so you can't understand LOL. Kids, don't get your minds twisted. Excercise, eat less junk, stay hydrated and keep smiling.
Danielle MacDonald is fire! She's an Aussie and an amazing actor. Patti Cakes was another movie she was amazing in. Can't wait to see this. Jennifer is of course a great actor and I don't miss anything with her in it.
It's already on netflix :O that was fast!!!
@CatsRus Well they just have it advertised my wife found out. It will be out Dec 9 in Canada at least! :P
Max Schellenberg 9th of December for Australia too 😭

Jennifer Aniston, Bex Taylor Klaus, Dove Cameron?!. I’m so watching this! 😍💕

Rachel is Monica’s mom!?
HAHAHAH nice catch
Best BEST comment!!

Wrong for that one
I'm a 50 year old geezer from UK ,thank you for recommending this to me you tube.
After drowning in studies and not watching movies for a lifetime I really wanna see this
This trailer actually had me tearing up... everything about it is just plain beautiful
for a second i thought she was going to lose weight
such an empowering trailer! anyone? december of 2020?
1:51 Why is she rolling eyes at the girls jogging? Workout is an annoying thing now? 😅😅😅
Btw im here for JA👐 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Those girls probably bully her. Watch the movie and find out
It's more likely that she is attempting to find self-happiness at her current size but feels bombarded by images of 'the perfect women' so we see her being annoyed by that
The fat girl is proving a point by saying " Fat girls can be in beauty pagents and still look as pretty as the rest!" Even tho shes never worked out in her life and probably made herself fat. What a joke from her side. But I understand the concept of the movie tho.
TV oh my god you asshole
shes rolling her eyes because they are all slim, obviously
When is it out?!
I love how Jennifer's character might be a celeb mom but she's so proud and supportive of her daughter unlike how most cliche plots in such movies go. This is beautiful! ❤
at first, the mom appears to beeeee kindaa
I love Bex dancing, it is the best thing ever
i want to see this
I know, right? I am NOT into these kind of movies but this one I'll watch with my GF... :)
Not in netflix anymore?
I love the book I’m so excited to see this!!!!
Can’t wait. I’m actually excited about this Jenn movie.
Thank you Netflix. After watching this I’ve no need to watch it now
Jimmy fellon
Dumplin' was my favorite book from last year! You can't imagine how happy I am now!
Only watching this because of Dove Cameron, hope her part is bigger than what I've seen in the trailer
Literally just finished Friends. Get to see Jeniffer again. She hasn’t aged a bit!
I'm disappointed that Dolly Parton didn't make an appearance
Jen is really an awesome comedic actress. Can't wait.
OMG i want to see this!!!! looks soooo good!
Just watched it in 2020. I enjoyed this alot.
Why did rachel change Emma's name?
Man i get to see on December 7, that's awesome...and so is Jen...
DOVE!!!!!!! ??? ❤️
If they'd have gone with Beth Ditto (who can sing like Dolly too!), I'd have passed out with joy. As it is, I "merely" squealed bc this is definitely setting up to be a year round favorite. 🤩
Love me some Jennifer Aniston
it's on NETFLIX..can't wait to watch this

TO GO TO THE GYM!
Its been a while since i watched a movie that sincerely made me happy, not in a comedy way buy a happy heart kind of movie. Not cliché, no to much drama.
lol i was just watching Friends on Netflix and saw this on here. OMG I had to pause and take a minute to see if this was true x
I'm SO excited for this!
Is this really from the same company that made Insatiable?
Love you Rachel 😍😍😍
Shangela in A Star Is Born and now Ginger Minj in this, love it!!!!
This is going to be so good!
I'll watch almost everything with Jennifer Anniston in it, this looks like a lot of fun and I love the remix at the end - I'm still salty that she didn't get a Oscar nomination for Cake, she was phenomenal n that movie!
Normalizing obesity isn't a thing truly loving who you are as you are is a thing! so stop spreading hate.
Jervon Brown yet no one cares if a skinny girls smokes capes or drinks
No. There is no such thing as loving yourself and eating things that could kill you in the future. Like fast food or nesting too much sugar and salt. It's likenyounwant to die (AND YOU WILL DIE) at least 20-30 years earlier than normal. That's not loving yourself. That's abandoning yourself. I happen to love myself especially after achieving getting into my dream university and living myself means taking care of my body as well. You could be fat and smoke or skinny and smoke and you could be skinny and live off junk food and obese eating junk food (in much bigger porpotions obviously). So there is no "loving yourself"situation if you don't care about your body. Go out, walk a lot, eat a lot of fruits and veggies and avoid too much meat and sugar.
The point is children how are you going to try and make your opinion mean something to someone who loves themselves as they are eating healthy works for you other people don't want too and they are fine with themselves! Again stop going against people and how they wish to live THEIR lives and focus on YOURSELF.
Jervon Brown It's an unhealthy message to promote being clinically obese. Self-acceptance that you're greedy is not some cathartic character building experience.
100 tears ago people were dying from genuinely infectious diseases. Today, people are knowingly and wilfully killing themselves with frequent super sized portions of sugar-rich foods.
Fat people shouldn't be mocked or tormented either, but there's enough of them now that it's the norm, both in America and here in the UK.
It's an international health concern.
Overconsumption of sugar-rich foods is not "loving yourself".
actually meat doesn't get you fat, it's mainly the fat in the meat, carbohydrate, oil and sugar.
I'm a huge f•r•i•e•n•d•s fan, so there's no question of not watching it, what with Jennifer in the film!
did Rachel escaped the second wedding as well....
I was there when they were filming lmao If you find a group of 3 running with icecreams it's my parents and I haha
Horra
another Aniston movie that will be forgotten in 6 weeks
Looks better than Isn't it Romantic ~ Can't wait!
Also, people need to get over Insatiable xD that was a good series... if you didn't watch it, and you're upset over the trailer, you won't know.
Jenifer doesn't age
I know this isn't very nice/PC, but that "I'm not the Jonah's Ark of fat girls" line made this trailer so much better 😂
Was that Dove Cameron??
Yessss 🙌🙌🙌
Where
now this is going to be good; the thumbnail said 90s and the trailer said YASSSSS.
No no stop it 😂
Anyone know movies like this one ?? It was a great movie it made me feel so happy at the end
is this some kind of honey boo boo parody?
Set Fire to the Whole Damn House no it’s based of a book
nobody gave honey boo boo a hard time for being fat, she was on pageants since she was like 2 when the show started she was 6 and her mother was fat...
I’m going to watch every little bit of this!!
Is this outcome of netflix big data ?
I'm fat, but this is rationalization
This is insulting to the people who are trying
Looks like a daughter trying to show her mom that it's alright to feel beautiful despite your size, to me anyway. I don't think it's trying to normalize/encourage being overweight at all.
what movie is this?
Don´t really get it, it is suppose to be a feel good movie about a big girl entering a beauty pageant to smash what we think the typical beauty standards are and that everybody is beautiful on the inside but a beauty pageant is a competition where good physical looks is a part of the competition but she is to lazy to do the work it takes to look good to be in this competition but she thinks she is right and everybody else is wrong and people encourage this delusional behavior. I am fat but you wont see me in a bodybuilding competition because I don´t want to do the work it takes to get into one. (english not my native langues sorry if anything is incomprehensible)
I fully understand your opinion. I would say this whole movie is about anti fat shame, telling people being fat is totally ok and you don't have to worry about it. This story is trying to make a point that if you are fat and you don't resolve this issue through regulating your dietary and exercises, you just need to convince yourself and others being fat is ok, if you disagree with me? ok, you are mean and terrible.
Really? Science have told us it is not good to be fat or overweight.
I was overweight before cuz of eating too much junk food, and I realised what obesity can do to me and I started exercise and ate healthy food, and this is what people should do, find a solution to solve the problem instead of avoiding the fact and live in a delusional world!
GG, political correct, GG
I don't think its that. I think its trying to say how fat people can still be very beautiful. Look at the actress, she is beautiful. I agree that if you are fat then you should do whatever you can to be healthier. However, in societal norms, there are so many things that people do that are "deadly" other than being fat, such as smoking, drinking and being reckless. Those things are still seen as attractive though. So therefore, I believe this film is just trying to tell a nice story, she says herself she isn't trying to be the "fat girl Joan of Ark", maybe a tip netflix doesn't want this to be SJW but just a feelgood film.
It's more like reflection of being who we are, and what potrays in society code about our physical experience. It's not even about being fat actually, take a look on the book Dumpling by Julie Murphy this movie based on that. Willow took the pageant not because she wanted to prove an idealistic of anti-shaming fat people but she wanted to prove to her society that any woman could be in beauty pageant. She asked her odd friends include the androgyny one to joined the beauty pageant. Because any woman are deserved to celebrate her own beauty even going to beauty pageant. And what you said about why she didn't work out to get beautiful, well it was never about being a winner at the end. I give you a hint : they didnt win but they did bring something value to the society at the end
Body building is about the muscle mass, there is nothing subjective about it. But a beauty contest proclaims that there is one standard of beauty, which is simply not true.
Vanessa Leighton I was a chubby kid once. Now I'm size 8. People always asked me "How I got slimmer? What the diet? What the exercise?" And the truth is I dropped weight caused by physical sickness. Ironically the sickness wasn't reason behind obesity. It was symptoms of great depression. I lost weight because my body couldn't even function along my mental. My dear, I agree with you about health, it's expensive thing above money. We should take care our mind and body carefully. However, I came around fat people. Watch alot of them running, living day to day basic like sleek horses. Working full-hours straight job without endures gastritis stomach ache, blasted migraines, or take anxiety pills. Some of them eat healthy food, exercise daily and still outrun me in short trekking
I dont think all fat people are obese, dear. And I dont think all of them favor obesity as well. We can't assume people history, including fat people. Portray on the body isn't always the same with experience stories behind it. You want to lose some weight? go on, it's your body. If you feel happy about it then you can do it! Just remember you do it for yourself, not because people call you obese when they don't know any kind of life you. create.
Excluding from the movie, I sincerely suggest to take a chance in every profile of human being. We indeed unique :)
I’m here for it!!!!!!
