Amazon has released the brand new Firestick Max 4K and the new Firestick 4K and I finally have my hands on it. Unfortunately the first Firestick 4K max I tried bricked... I will be doing a more in depth review of the Firestick 4K max next week once I have a chance to try it more.

Amazon is known for there Firestick and for you to have a red screen on first firestick looking bad, and i noticed from the second firestick you try looks to move fast and smooth with a great quality image / graphic. There is no logo for side-loaded apps, and it buffers, and it overheats.
the no logo thing happened at the start of the last OS as well. It will be fixed eventually

From someone in the UK this is far to expensive, it's £70 which is $85. At that price it should be ad free. Certainly no longer a budget option.

Here’s one for you. Is the new 4K max remote really any better than the new 4K remote? I know it’s got a couple of extra buttons, but does that help you in deciding which new stick to buy? Good video.

Just wondering if this allows for external storage? The 7k max I got a few months will not allow for usb storage. External storage does not appear under settings in my fire tv or applications. It does show up in xplore.
Aft news said the home button long press to access the applications quickly has been changed to I believe to access tv guide

Side loaded apps aren’t displaying a logo for me on my new 4K max. It’s my first ever firestick too, watched your vids before deciding to get one
This is a known issue with the new 4K Max. Hopefully, Amazon will send a software update soon to correct this.

I have tried to put the 2nd gen remote from my Fire TV Stick 4K Max remote on my 1st gen Fire TV Stick 4K Max and it will not pair. The only reason why I tried, was cause I have the Pro Remote so I am using that remote instead on my 2nd gen Fire TV Stick 4K Max.
Hi there, have you had a problem getting the Grey icons instead of App icons? I have sideloaded third-party Apps but they show up as Grey in the list of Apps. Cheers

My new firestick wont load toggle and some apks wont work without it
I guess I'm going to be that one guy; when showing the remote would it take that much effort to hold it still longer than one second so we could get a longer look? Other than that interesting find on the splitter.

Haven’t spent enough time with the new max. But I will always prefer the cube just because of the ports, built in Alexa and extra power

I have spectrum cable internet running through their wifi 6 modem and the new wifi6e firestick and have not see any super fast speeds.

3rd party apps appear to NOT have a picture thumbnail so you'll be clicking on random shit
I huess i should check out my olde firestick i bought,2 yrs ago now.lol old.. funny. Im sticking to androidboxes. Never issues, being bricked. New school people, making things worse.😅😅
They took out Apps when you hold down hone button and replaced with Ambient.
