Issues with 3rd party apps on the new sticks running os 8 such as blacked out icons, storage permission, and cannot enable mouse toggle. Hopefully Amazon will address these issues with future updates.
I like the rounded edges. I just bought the new firestick 4K max 2nd gen and I’m going to set it up next week. The extra storage is the main reason I got it. I just hope Amazon doesn’t update the os to Vega, I will be really pissed off cause I only use 3rd party apps.
Can you do a comparison video, pinning the new Max against previous Fire devices. See what internet speeds it gets vs. the other devices. Also, how long it takes to launch apps, restart & boot up.

I don’t see even though I have a Fire TV from Amazon just got it and the beginning of January 24 4K HU something or rather I don’t know but it’s got Apple is got airplay and HomeKit Power control I don’t know. With 3rd party apps can you still not choose "allow all the time" or something like that I heard that was an issue in someone else's video a while ago and heard many apps wouldn't work without that setting

They're not stupid, they purposely put micro USB on it to limit add on adapters, just wait til they add their own OS so it will be the new Roku

All third party applications work better on the new 4K Max because it's better processor and more space.

Resync your apps again, it fixed mine, they must of fixed it.
Just go to settings then go to my fire tv then about then click update couple times and it will be fixed !!
